For all the Ordinals enthusiasts or curious. I have a new drop with @trygamma. BIT L'ORDS is the 100% algorithmic genesis drop from @artpacks_club where you first mint a Pack and decide to open the pack to reveal the inscriptions inside or not (a la Trading Cards). https://t.co/a0sxSTnG4U
@monokai I've come up against this confusion in marketing and conversation so much recently. I too am starting to delineate to using this subset description of Algorithmic Art as well and I hope it gets more widely adopted before newcomers are completely confused and misguided.
Me: "Hi, I make Generative Art"
Everyone: "Cool, me too, look what I made with Midjourney"
So that's why I've been using the term Algorithmic Art for code-driven Generative Art lately, as opposed to AI-assisted Generative Art.
And tried to define it:

I believe many artists and builders in the ETH ecosystem still don't realize how elegant, cost effective, lean and powerful Ordinals are in terms of putting generative art full onchain. Not to mention the provenance of having art of the mother of all chains that is now known by normies all over the world.
The Parent Child protocol is unique to Ordinals and provides an elegant way to create an onchain hierarchical relationship between artworks. For chatFUKR the use of multiple parents provides indelible provenance and a convenient way to navigate between batches, especially as different batches may be dropped using varying drop dynamics.
All parents are created generatively and make use of recursion to reuse the algorithms used to create chatFUKR traits. Every time they are refreshed they will be slightly different. Both the batch and collection parents also include a perpetual Degen insult generator displayed in a auto scrolling marquee.
Great Grand Parent: Artist Seal
This generative work is based on a motif the artist has used to sign his work for over a decade. The art auto ages, starting as pristine white at the artists birth 49 years ago and continues to become increasingly worn and discolored with time. It will serve as an onchain signature for all Harvey Rayner's future Ordinals collections.
Generative artists thrive by letting go. Tack Line Torn by @onlygenerated takes inspiration from seafaring, examining the wide range of outcomes that are possible when control is lost. Let’s look at how you can explore traits through repeated voyages on @intrinsicDotArt. 👇
When you own the traits, you can collect generative art while still embracing impermanence. Let’s explore how minting on intrinsic.art complements the Buddhist principles explored by @MonkMatto in Metta, launching today at 1pm EDT.
Gm fukrz,
The chatFUKR collection parent and batch1 parent and all the chatFUKR code is now onchain! I've even inscribed an Artist's proof to test in different environments (link in comments). This test mint doesn't use the official chatFUKR parents so won't show up in official collection. Next step is generating all the mint inscriptions (html, trait and thumbnail files) to send to @MagicEden . This is an easy step as I've already built the script to do this. Once ME has done the batch inscriptions we will announce the release date.
Thanks for your patience - I realized I predicted mid April for this drop, but the BTC fees spike following Runes launch stalled inscription progress. This has given me time to make good progress on an official chatFUKR website. I also realize nobody is waking up in the morning stressing that chatFUKR is not minted yet.
Dropping a large ambitious project on a new chain without the support of a platform has been a daunting challenge at times. Over a month ago I recruited @AleksInWeb3 to act as my campaign manager as I was overwhelmed with AL enquiries. She has been a fantastic help. I also have help from @gmCoffeeNFT (Null_pointer) and @Crypticpepe7 in my discord who's help has also been invaluable. And of course I get a bunch of good ideas and energy from my community and I am very grateful to them. Asides from all this I'm a one man band so far!
Many ambitious PFP projects have a whole team behind them so things progress a little slower in my studio. This project is very much a product of that slow bake, thoughtful and methodical approach to building in Web3. To be sustainable it has to be that way for me, but I also feel it makes for a more sane existence in this space. Despite the absurdity of chatFUKR I hope this spirit is reflected in the work and my followers appreciate the gradual unfoldment of this project, even if its a little late.
Has any Ordinal art really taken off yet?
Not community or PFP - just art.
Because @floraforms make me feel something. You can look at them and see different things…letting your imagination run wild. Like laying in the grass on a warm summer day and cloud gazing.

@itslogos@cryptothegame_@ElevateFPS One of my closest comrades in the game and I had no idea. Well done. That was the only way you could have played it. We'll get 'em next time. 🟢🫶
I said from the beginning, if I didn't make it to the finale of @cryptothegame_ my vote would stick with Green. That's why I've delegated my vote with @wlhunter25. Someone I've worked with IRL via @iyk_app and can vouch that he's continuously building and adding value in this space. If you want to get onboard too, consider delegating your vote at https://t.co/ckz1yQw7Ox and lets share the prize together. 🟢🫶
@Mathooss@cryptothegame_ You played a clean, honest and hard working game. Something I aspired to do as well. Loved solving the Templars cipher in your image. "WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE GO VOTE FOR ME". Well played all around.
