One of the biggest misconceptions in medicine is that cannabis for chronic pain is supported mostly by anecdotes.

A 2022 systematic review + meta-analysis pooled 8 randomized controlled trials involving 1,051 patients with chronic neuropathic pain.

The findings:

• Sleep quality improved significantly
(SMD +0.40, p=0.002)
• Pain intensity improved significantly
(SMD −0.55, p=0.003)

Not magic. Not cure claims. But legitimate clinical signals in one of the hardest pain conditions to treat consistently. /1

Dag @NS_Zakelijk - waarom gaat op een veilige browser het inloggen zo moeizaam met zoveel captcha's? Het is me nog niet gelukt om in te loggen als contactpersoon na 30+ captcha's aan te klikken. Zo kost inloggen meer tijd dan het daadwerkelijk ophalen en boeken van een factuur.

Why is it so bad? Most of the times, you start heading out to finish a one-shot or simple task. You might be in focus - PRECIOUS - time. The moment you hit such a roadblock, you lose everything - content, context and focus. You start to diverge into something else, waiting.

Trying not to sound negative. I really am happy that #2FA is now a thing. But let's be real - this is NOT 2FA. This is, with #captcha and #cloudflare checks now the next level of bad design wasting hours of productivity each day.

@RobTuinstra Nee, beknopt samengevat wat er is besproken. Opvallend toch dat de 10 agendapunten eigenlijk niet geraakt zijn. Maargoed, dat zal wel bij een eerste commissie bijeenkomst horen - piketpaaltjes uitzetten en partijstandpunten roeptoeteren.

@vocnederland commisdebat drugs ging amper over de agenda. Voornamelijk StaVaZa EGC, drugs in het algemeen. Schrikbarend weinig dossierkennis bij nieuwe commissieleden namens de fracties. Tenenkrommend om de vraag te horen welke KPI's getoetst worden. Dit is al lang bekend! 1/2
