@AlastairDalton Wonderful that cyclists are finally considered on the Haymarket road which would feed in beautifully with a cycle North towards Granton but only if trams are installed elsewhere #saveroseburnpath
@CllrScottArthur @IanMurrayMP If you are so concerned about green space why are you proposing to convert one of Edinburgh's best green spaces ; the Roseburn path, which is biodiverse unlike this field which is a monoculture, into concrete infrastructure for trams?
@CllrScottArthur Don't destroy one of the best loved linear parks in Edinburgh! Hugely loved active travel route and safe space away from pollution ,noise and danger from motorists. Active travel MUST be protected at all costs. Along with biodiversity in the #climateemergency.
Another perspective on the green corridor that is the #roseburncyclepath 'we simply can't lose this green corridor. We can't.' #tramproposaledinburgh @CllrScottArthur
Very unsettled by @CllrScottArthur's proposal removing 2km of favourite cycle path in Edinburgh. I use this path EVERY DAY on foot or on bike and love the peace and quiet offered by the vehicle- free route to Haymarket from Granton. Council meeting TODAY to decide. Email yours!
So sad to see this STILL happening in the 21ST CENTURY!! With UK amongst the top nature depleted countries globally and ONE IN SIX of our native species at threat, how can we still allow this to happen on land that urgently needs trees/forests to create biodiverse habitats??
This is yesterday. What an industry! Burning our hills and illegally killing our eagles. Killing 100s of thousands of native birds and mammals per annum. TO SHOOT GROUSE FOR FUN! What climate change and biodiversity collapse?@GillianMSP
Delighted to be included in this feminist exhibition Women's Work is Never Done, curated by #catherinedezegher on at the #richardsaltoungallery London until 24/1/24 with short #keepersofthesoil film made on Coll celebrating our precious #peatbogs and biodiversity.
@Athelstaneford4 It was a pleasure to bring soil to life for the P6 and 7's today. Looking forward to our next soil investigation under the microscope!
I just endorsed the campaign for a #FossilFuelTreaty βΒ calling for a new international mechanism to manage a global just transition.
