Je parlais il n'y a pas longtemps de ce projet pour déchiffrer par IA les papyrus d'Herculanum et ça y est : les premiers mots ont été repérés et déchiffrés (par un étudiant en informatique de 21 ans !). On sait maintenant qu'on peut lire tous ces volumes sans les ouvrir. C'est vraiment une extraordinaire avancée.

Le premier mot identifié est "pourpre" (πορφυρας). C'est la première fois que quelqu'un le lit depuis 2000 ans. Vraiment hâte de voir la suite.
