Easy cheap way to do name seals with your students! I hot glued 1.5x1.5" Styrofoam squares to strips of cardboard. They just use a ballpoint pen to carve their name, then bend back the cardboard flaps as little handles while stamping.

2nd grade painting sunset silhouettes 🌇 I do a version of this lesson every year and the kids always love it + it's very difficult to mess up. It's a great lesson to give the students a little confidence boost before or after a very challenging lesson.

Pre-K (left), 1st grade (center), and 2nd grade (right) also did the Seurat fruit paintings. They loved learning about pointillism (though it was a bit tedious).

@shegotplans Go to Best Buy and go to the open box bin (it's more like a cage). It's laptops that were purchased but were returned before 30 days. They check them to see if everything's working fine and they still have a warranty in case they're not. They regularly have savings of $200+.
