ನಾನು ಪೀಕೀ ಬ್ಲೈಂಡರ್ಸ್ ಇನ್ನೂ ಮುಗ್ಸಿಲ್ಲಾ... ನೋಡ್ತಾನೇ ಇದೀನಿ... ಇನ್ನೆರಡು ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಗಿಸ್ತೀನಿ ಅನ್ಸುತ್ತೆ.

ನಿನ್ನೆ ರಾತ್ರಿ #Toxic ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನೋಡಿದೆ. ಪೀಕಿ ಬ್ಲೈಂಡರ್ಸ್ ನೋಡಿರೋ ನನಗೆ ಕತೆ ಅದೇ ಶೈಲಿಯದ್ದು ಅನಿಸೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೊತ್ತು ಹಿಡೀಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಬೇಗನೆ ಕತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನ ಹಿಡಿದಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡಿತು.

ಕನ್ನಡ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಶೈಲಿಯ ಕಂಟೆಂಟ್ ಇರೋ ಸಿನಿಮಾ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡೋ ಧೈರ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿರೋದನ್ನ ಮೆಚ್ಚದೇ ಇರೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

#Yash ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ತಾರಾಗಣದ ಅಭಿನಯ, ಪಾತ್ರಗಳ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆ, ಸಂಭಾಷಣೆ ಅದ್ಭುತವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕತೆಯ ಕಾಲಘಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಪಾತ್ರಗಳ ವಸ್ತ್ರವಿನ್ಯಾಸ, ಸೆಟ್ ಅಳವಡಿಕೆ, ವಾಹನಗಳು, ಸಾಹಸ ದೃಶ್ಯಗಳು, ಅತ್ಯದ್ಭುತ ಛಾಯಾಗ್ರಹಣ, ಕಲರಿಂಗ್ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಕತೆಗೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ತೆರೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತರಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಿನ್ನಲೆ ಸಂಗೀತ ಕೊಂಚ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಬೇಕಿತ್ತು ಅನಿಸಿದ್ದೊಂದು ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ, #Toxic ಒಂದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ product ಮತ್ತು ಆ product ನನಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆಯೆನಿಸಿದೆ.

ಮಿಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಹಲವರು ಮಾತನಾಡೋ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂಸಾತ್ಮಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಮೋದ್ರೇಕ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳಿವೆ ಅನ್ನೋ ಮಾತುಗಳು ನನಗೇಕೋ ಅತಿಶಯೋಕ್ತಿ ಅನಿಸಿತು. ಅಂತಹ ಹಿಂಸಾತ್ಮಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಮೋದ್ರೇಕ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಇತರೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.. ಮಚ್ಚು ಲಾಂಗುಗಳು, ತಲೆ.. ಕೈ...ಕಾಲು ಕಡಿ ಕೊಚ್ಚು ಅಂತಾ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡೋವಾಗ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಪಾಪ್‌ಕಾರ್ನ್, ಪೆಪ್ಸೀ, ಮೊಟ್ಟೆ ಪಪ್ಸು ಕೊಡಿಸಿ ಚಿತ್ರಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂರಿಸೋರು ಇದನ್ನ ಯಾಕೆ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪ ಮಾಡಿದರೋ ನಾನರಿಯೆ. ಏನೋ ಅವರವರ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮಟ್ಟ-ಅಭಿರುಚಿಗನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಏನೋ ಹೇಳಿರಬಹುದೆಂದನಿಸಿತು.

ನನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಏನಂದ್ರೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಈ ಸಿನಿಮಾದ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸದ್ದು ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ ಅನ್ನೋದು. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶ್ ಮತ್ತು ತಂಡ ಎಷ್ಟು ಅನುಭವ ಗಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೋ.. ಅದರಿಂದ ಮುಂದಿನ ಸಿನಿಮಾದಲ್ಲಿ/ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಉತ್ತಮ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸದ್ದು ಮಾಡಿ ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಆಸ್ಕರ್ ಬರೋ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ಕೆಲಸಗಳು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳು ಆಗಲಿ ಅನ್ನೋ ಆಶಯ. Toxic ಆ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡನೇ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆ ಅನ್ನೋದನ್ನ ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಗಳೆಯೋದಿಲ್ಲ.
