There are feasibility factors intrinsic to a PROM, beyond its psychometric properties, that impede its routine use.
We propose the FACTOR3 checklist to evaluate the intrinsic feasibility characteristics of a PROM for trials & clinical application.

In adults, limiting smartphone functionality to texting and calls and blocking all social media and mobile internet for 2 weeks significantly improved attention, self-reported well-being and mental health. 90% of participants experienced a benefit.
With great pleasure we report metaanalysis of 5 trials including LEMANS at 10 year follow-up in @JACCJournals. There is no difference in mortality between PCI and CABG for left main disease. In fact its identical : 23.4% vs 23.3%, HR 1.02 (0.89–1.17), RMST difference of exactly 0.0 years. Those are outcomes still with BMS and rare IVUS. Not bad! Great news for the patients. @GreggWStone@Hragy@SerruysPatrick@ZSiudak@EAPCIPresident@AHP_PAKS@uniwersytet_afm Thank you David Koeckerling and Ahmad Yosif.

In this RCT of complex bifurcation #PCI using DK crush technique, 1-year benefits of #IVUS-guided PCI were driven by achieving IVUS optimization targets, not IVUS use alone. https://t.co/Uv1QbERUUL #JACC#ACC26
Presented at #ACC26:
Among patients with unprotected left main coronary artery disease, intravascular ultrasonography–guided PCI did not result in a lower risk of ischemic events or death than angiography-guided PCI. Full OPTIMAL trial results: https://t.co/bJ51ghVFq2

New RCT evidence supporting the clinical benefit of genotype-guided P2Y12i in ACS, with most benefit within 3 months post-PCI. In light of NEOMIND-SET, this is the only de-escalation strategy shown to reduce early post-PCI bleeding—when it matters most.

We found only one disease-specific HRQoL instrument for AS, TASQ. However, it was ranked as having inadequate psychometric properties, therefore its patient reported data should be used with caution.

New heart attack studies show that evidence from the 1980s may not apply to patients in 2025.
Beta blockers are a case study in how medicine evolves, and how slowly our evidence base often keeps up.
