I recently had the opportunity to represent the Nishat Group and Pakistan at the #TurkmenTextileExpo2026 in Ashgabat, where we showcased our textile expertise and production capabilities to a global audience.

The exhibition served as an important platform to strengthen trade ties, explore new partnerships and promote greater collaboration between Pakistan and Turkmenistan in the textile sector.

The facilitation by the Ambassador of Pakistan’s Embassy of Turkmenistan H.E Dr. Faryal Leghari and other officials of the Embassy was really appreciable.

Joined the Opening Ceremony of the 8th GEF Assembly in Samarkand yesterday. This is the first time for GEF Assembly to be held in the ECO region – something that will definitely boost region’s capacity to access global environmental finance.

It was my profound honor to receive “Outstanding Diplomat Medal” on behalf of Pakistan from Chinese Foreign Minister H.E. Wang Yi during an elegant ceremony today at @MFA_China - a first time such award was conferred.

Being awarded this honor at our most consequential diplomatic outpost, from where we guard and nourish our most ‘iron brotherhood’ is truly a rewarding feeling. However, much more can be done as for our relationship, sky is the limit. This year when we celebrate #PakChinaAt75, the motivation is even stronger!
