My favorite thing about going to the movies— getting the closed caption device, have it block a huge part of the screen, and then have no captions actually show up
To close out #RDSPAwarenessMonth, we have updated our infographic on the other benefits of the #DTC, which you can view in this post. We have also fully described the infographic on our blog (where you can also download a PDF version: https://t.co/opRFxUVBBz
Well. @AirCanada left my chair in Toronto. I’m now without my essential equipment. Independence taken away. I’m furious. Unacceptable. #RightsOnFlights
@j_mcelroy As an ex-pat from PEI, I will point out that while a BC bridge would be lovely (hour crossing is now a 10-15 minute drive), there are still issues with weather. Confed bridge shuts down to semis during wind and only has 2 lanes. It is 13 km long. #ConfedBridge#BCBridge

I’ve been at this job for 18 years and I have never seen this volume of referrals. Ever. I’ve had 82 new patient referrals this week and it’s only Thursday. That’s just not sustainable. So many of them have no other access to care. No real place to go back for follow up.
@KirkpatrickWVC@bcndp@BCUnitedCaucus Spending more money on determining who needs help than actually providing that help. The @bcndp has always put labour rights and bureaucracy above human rights, what a mess.

Why are families caring for vulnerable children in #Richmond being stripped of vital support funds? Why in a year of a billion dollar surplus, is our province not funding the ELIMINATION of waitlists? @henryyaomla @MikeStarchuk#Bcpoli
Lots of supportive messages for Sophia, I asked the dad who sent me this note if I could share. ☺️
Both of his daughters were Sophia’s “big buddy” over the years + both are furious. Dad says we must all be united in stopping discrimination + bullying. #bced#bcpoli#SD35
Today in 1980, Terry Fox reaches Port Aux Basque, Newfoundland. He had run 882 km by this point.
The community of 10,000 people raised $10,000, and then a further $4,000 after he left the community.
