I've had the privilege of knowing Dr Geetha Menon @Geethamenon63 very closely, genetic privileges 🤭. Kudos to her immense contribution to data analysis strategies in epidemiology @icmr_nims and public health in India 👏🏼. Great initiative by @labhopping .. yayyyy amma 🎉🎊👍🏼
@HarmitMalik They detailed what exactly they knew so that no one can be under the misunderstanding that they're being inconsiderate simply because they might have underestimated the severity of the situation..
Fun fact, I never got notified by Vogue about the feature, and I found out about the article six months later cause some of my friends sent it to me, and it felt too late to be excited 🥲
@Great_Scorpion @nsreelaja@veni_menon@Janakraj18B@Dev_Bio_Journal@India_Alliance@TIFRScience@Rahul Reach out...thy neighbor will too. Actin protrusion analysis showed that migrating cells extend protrusions non-uniformly. Smaller cells extend fewer and larger cells extend more protrusions, which are either uniform or not non-uniform enough to drive migration optimally.
@nsreelaja@veni_menon @Great_Scorpion @Janakraj18B@Dev_Bio_Journal@India_Alliance@TIFRScience@Rahul Love thy neighbor, of all sizes! Neighbors of different sizes must coordinate their migration and move in sync. If the size composition of a cell collective is perturbed, cells fail to move optimally to reach their intended locations during gastrulation.
@nsreelaja@Janakraj18B@Dev_Bio_Journal@India_Alliance@TIFRScience@veni_menon@Rahul Just because chaos reigns, doesn’t mean there is no order:
Early zebrafish embryos are a hemispherical cell clump on a spherical yolk. We found that cells in this clump come in a range of sizes which changes to a new size range with cell divisions for hours after fertilization.
SN lab lock-down activity- Display of work through any form of creative expression- A-Asfa, B-Anusha, C- Sreelaja, D-Rahul, E-I-Triveni. This was fun!!! #zebrafish#Lockdown3#SciArt#quarantineart
