The Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project
@UCSATP, through the Department of Agricultural Infrastructure, Mechanisation and Water for Agricultural Production (DAIMWAP) department under @MAAIF_Uganda successfully participated in the 10th edition of the Harvest Money Expo 2026, which concluded on Sunday at Kololo Independence Grounds.

The Expo was officiated by the Minister of State for Agriculture, Hon. Kyakulaga @fredbwino.

The @UCSATP exhibition showcased practical, climate-smart agricultural solutions that are transforming farming, highlighting the role of mechanisation, irrigation for all-season production, and sustainable enterprises such as Hass avocado for both income generation and environmental conservation.

In collaboration with private sector partners:
*JABBA demonstrated soil testing technologies to guide proper fertilizer use
*AVOCARE promoted Hass avocado as a high-value Climate Smart Agriculture crop
*@AKVOinternational showcased irrigation solutions for increased productivity

The Expo provided a valuable platform for knowledge sharing, innovation, and strategic partnerships, reinforcing the shift towards farming as a business.
