#100DaysofWriting Day 1 - I have learned through toastmasters the importance of being energetic and mobile while presenting. Additionally it is always a shame how great ideas pop up after presenting. Being quick witted is really a handy skill, which I am sure you can refine...
@bookingcom I have had a really bad experience as the customer support on phone is not helpful. My account has been locked for unknown reasons and the customer support could not give me the reason and recommended I contact Hotmail if I did not receive the verification..
Day 2 - I am starting the indistractable book by Nir Eyal and, which revolves around how to control your attention span in this current era where distraction is extremely hard to avoid.

Focus on having enough income for minimum necessities, so that you can live relatively comfortably. From there happiness will come from finding things that give you purpose and that people appreciate.
@global_couple@Jayla1985 Nice looks exciting. I just started my the almchemist, and I am really hooked with the story. You can see the author put a lot of heart into it. I also find wisdom from fiction to be more fun than the try delivery in self help books.
@nalband Yup, it’s pretty easy read but loads of useful information. It can get abit repetitive though, but I guess that applies to lots of books these days 🤷♂️
1/4 Stop being a spokesperson
In this day and age it is extremely easy to consume too much information, be it from articles, videos, books and people around us. When I take in information I am very careful of two things:
@nalband One book called Jaws, where I implemented it into my life straightaway. It essentially talks about the dangers of mouth breathing and how important proper positioning of your tongue can affect your jaw. Since I have an issue with mouth breathing at night, the book helped a lot
@nalband Definitely, people don’t realize that others sense when they don’t care what they are saying. But to be an active listener is a lifetime of learning I believe.
1/5 Listening is such an underrated skill and if you think about it, people really love talking about themselves. But to be honest I believe that the best way to be a conversationalist is to learn to listen properly. Why is that? Well by listening you actually communicate deeply.
4/4 Of course I am not perfect at this yet, as I sometimes require more time than I allocated, but it can be really useful to create momentum and of course with practice you can estimate your productivity more accurately. I encourage anyone to try getting done more in less time.
1/4 Parkinson's law
I really like this principle. Essentially you can say it is the perfect law to describe an aspect of procastination. When we dont allocate a specific time for a task, we will find ways to work longer on that task when we can finish it a much shorter time
3/4 Of course you can perform this exercise with other people to keep accountable at the same time. I feel this to be even more effective than doing it alone, and you can also have time at the end of the session to reflect on the work done and have a nice conversation.
1/6 In my first year of uni a typical day would consist of missing lectures while living on campus, eating fried wings everyday and playing lots of video games. As you can see I was at my prime. But you know good things dont last forever
5/6 Although I dont get perfect grades, I havent failed a module since then. I told myself that failure was out of the question and that my worry should only be how well I can succeed.
