#FlutterPuzzlehack First win and First place in the First hackathon I ever participated in! Coming from a non-engineering background and being a self-taught developer, I cannot express how amazing it feels to have made this achievement.
I'm grateful to the @FlutterDev team 1/2
Goodbye clicking on Google Street View to check out the route!
In your browser, with https://t.co/2Zwyv0DEv9 you can actually drive anywhere in the world🚀
You can also create multiplayer races🚗🏎🚓
The world is generated ahead of you in real-time from OpenStreetMap data combined with satellite elevation data as you drive.
Just added a WIP of night mode and replaced the placeholder terrain/road textures with some nicer physics-based textures. Also now anywhere you go a million street lights will be added too. This is actually slowly starting to look like the promised Need For Speed + Google Maps
#threejs #gamedev #indiedev
Single player mode:
Just find a location, click anywhere on the map and click "Hop Here". After parachuting down hold X to call the car to the road.
Multiplayer mode:
Click on "Create race" and select start and finish points. A route will be plotted. Click on Share Race to get the link and start racing!
@TheWarOwl I played a few games yesterday and honestly I never got into a situation where I ran out of ammo. Of course, I had to keep a mental note of the new change and I'm low rank
I got a call from a scammer yesterday.
Me: “Hello.”
Scammer: (thick, heavy accent) “Hello. This is Tom Smith from Microsoft Support. We are seeing a lot of virus activity coming from your device.”
Me: “Oh no. My device? Are you sure?”
Scammer: “Oh yes, Madam. We have many reports.”
Me: “Oh, jeez. How can I fix it?”
Scammer: “It’s okay, Madam. We can help you right now. Are you in front of your device?”
Me: “Yes. I was just about to use it. I’m glad you called.”
Scammer: “Good, Madam. Please push the Start button.”
Me: “I think it’s already on.”
Scammer: “Okay, Madam. Now click on Control Panel.”
Me: “I don’t see that.”
Scammer: “Do you see a bunch of information above the Start button?”
Me: “Yes.”
Scammer: “That is your Control Panel.”
Me: “Wow. I didn’t realize it had a name.”
Scammer: “Yes, Madam. Now press Internet Options.”
Me: “I don’t see any Internet options. I don’t think I bought that feature. This is just a cheap one.”
Scammer: “All devices have Internet, Madam. Press the Start button again.”
Me: “Okay. Same as before.”
Scammer: “That’s fine, Madam. We will restart your device. Please turn it off.”
Me: “Um… I don’t know how. I’ve never turned it off. It kind of just stays on.”
Scammer: “There must be an off button. How do you stop it when it’s running?”
Me: “I usually press the big button.”
Scammer: “Okay, Madam. Press that button.”
Me: “Okay.”
Scammer: “Is your device off?”
Me: “No. The door popped open.”
Scammer: “Door? Is there a disc inside?”
Me: “No. There’s a burrito.”
Scammer: “Why is there a burrito in your computer?”
Me: “Computer? I thought you said this was microwave support.”
@forloopcodes@genfromindia Which model is this? Because depending on the segment, the blur effect is static for efficiency in weaker CPUs. I noticed this change when I had A50 which I later upgraded to S20FE
I'm please to announce the release of Sketchy, a hand-drawn, xkcd-inspired design language for Flutter on mobile, desktop, and web:
https://t.co/PDKMpjTWD8
It's my first design system, so your feedback is very welcome!
@mickrich384 If you're not using CI CD for deployment then the issue could be coming from your local flutter cache. Deleting it might help you so you can give it a try.
I didn't. Was made to take a compulsory course on computer basics during my first semester and got hooked ever since. Been grateful every single moment since then 🙏🏼

I've been experimenting with using the new analyzer plugin API for code generation, and it's actually really cool!
⚡️ Instant code generation
🔬 Surgical updates in the same file
🔎 Report outdated/wrong code as lint warnings
🪄 Auto-regenerate outdated/wrong code via 'dart fix'
@schultek_dev I love these kinds of codegen from custom lints and analyzer. I have created some for my work project.
I bet we can create a pretty good alternative for json_serializable and freezed. If not that then at least the min boilerplate code generator for those, like quicktype[dot]io
@mazeincoding Download the browser in the device you tweeted from. Plug it into your pc and transfer the setup file. And don't tell me that you tweeted from another pc that doesn't have a browser either 💀
