Glimpses of Union Health Minister Shri J.P. Nadda’s review of TB elimination efforts under PM-PRAGATI with MoS Defence Shri Sanjay Seth.

The review focused on strengthening inter-ministerial convergence and advancing a whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach towards the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.

With coordinated action across sectors, India continues to accelerate its collective efforts towards a TB Mukt Bharat, in line with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.

Union Health Minister Shri J.P. Nadda reviewed the progress of TB elimination efforts under PM-PRAGATI with MoS Defence Shri Sanjay Seth, focusing on strengthening inter-ministerial convergence for the TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan.

The review emphasised measurable outcomes and tangible grassroots impact through early detection, prevention, community awareness, screening and sustained community mobilisation.

The Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, through MY Bharat volunteers, and the Ministry of Defence, through NCC cadets, are strengthening field-level outreach and awareness. Educational institutions and workplaces are also being brought into the national effort, with ESIC strengthening TB screening and support for workers.

This whole-of-government and whole-of-society approach will further accelerate India’s collective efforts towards a TB Mukt Bharat, in line with the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji.
