I feel like in healthcare, nutrition and nutritional health care are ignored or hardly acknowledge. It's important to understand every patient's background detail before making a conclusion. @beh353#beh353
Knowing nutrition and going into the medical field is a must. Every body is different and deserves to be treated the same! As a future healthcare professional I am going to help patients feel less judged in their care due to their nutritional health! @beh353#beh353
Some dishes can be made healthily and deliciously which won't ruin the holiday spirit. Meats are crucial but so are greens and fruits which balance it out. @beh353#beh353
Cheers to the holiday season! We’ve got you covered with all the fruit and veggie inspo you need for celebrating and memory-making. Get inspired: https://t.co/3V0NvTiJvf #haveaplant
This semester taught me that it is crucial to listen to every word a person says and never ignore how small the situation may sound. Also, food is a type of medicine that is in its own form, color, and taste.

It is an honor to hear from @EmmaDArpinoRD. She shares about nutrition and healthcare which gives me a new perspective on how things flow with healthcare and lessons of food/nutrients. @beh353#beh353
@fedoweadake@beh353 I think there's this misconception that if you want to lose weight or "feel" healthy after a workout, you need to sweat and have a red face. Walking is the best and most peaceful exercise people can do. @beh353#beh353
Anxiety is one of the major problems in society which makes it hard to maintain balance and a healthy lifestyle. A nutritious diet and moderate exercise keep the body healthy, but if the mindset is not, all those will go to waste. @beh353#beh353
@Vdas707@beh353 School lunches were never healthy. You see greens and fruits but the overall is not nutritious. Just by looking at the serving size and the food they provide, its all about filling the stomach and moving on to the next class. @beh353#beh353
This is helpful for parents to understand their children's weight and how to keep them healthy. It also teaches parents what health issues they can prevent and look out for at different ages. @beh353#beh353
Preparing healthy meals with family is more engaging and persuading. Eating healthily doesn't have to be an alone thing that seems sad and lonely. It seems less like an achievement to accomplish and more like a family activity. @beh353#beh353
Walking is simple yet effective. It's a great start to encourage patients to be more active instead of cutting right into the middle. Walking can be fun and productive at the same time which doesn't seem too harsh on them. @beh353#beh353
Planning to walk around trick or treating tonight? Walking counts as physical activity! Explore other ways to be active: https://t.co/XFZt6t5ZP7 #halloween
@jiannamramos@beh353 I was very upset by how people are treated based on their looks. In healthcare, discrimination, bias, and criticism should be happening when it comes to patients. They signed up for this and yet they are not fulfilling their responsibility. @beh353#beh353
It's crucial to hear every word of a patient no matter how unconcern it is. Listening patiently and sincerely to provide what's best for each patient is necessary. @beh353#beh353
Weighting yourself is not a bad idea. Weighting yourself all the time is because it is not healthy for the mind and body. Weight doesn't say it all. It just gives you an idea of how much your body is carrying. It isn't meant to let one down. @beh353#beh353
People who succeed at losing weight and keeping it off weigh themselves often, research shows. A step on the scale at least once a week seems to build awareness best. https://t.co/ulu0x5qxBa
@AnthonyDeMarc07@beh353 People who fat-shame just simply don't understand how the body works. They just think weight is related only to eating. Not true! People need to educate themselves before stating their opinion. It's good to share but be careful with words and feelings. @beh353#beh353
Obesity isn't only caused by diet. There are so many reasons, like lack of sleep which affects hormones, poor metabolism, and so much more. Fat shaming is a low-class act. People with fat shame don't think or know what others are dealing with. @beh353#beh353
It's helpful for college students to eat healthily and not spend over their budgets. Income is a major problem for college students and food is too. Knowing how to stay healthy on a budget is a must for many people. Keep in mind that health does come with a price. @beh353#beh353
@AnthonyDeMarc07@beh353 It's hard to eat healthily because money is what you need all the time. There may be free food but there would always be a difference between free and pay for. It became extra hard for me since I can't work during school and I became aware of what to spend on. @beh353#beh353
Money and healthy food are strongly linked. If you want nice healthy quality food, there must be some cost. I usually eat food that is affordable and easy to fill because college is already very expensive and there are other things to prioritize. @beh353#beh353
@DS_BEH353@beh353 I didn't even realize it until I looked at the label. That number is crazily high. I feel fine though. Maybe because I don't drink it every day.
I take one tablet a day. I heard it is good for your immune system and for allergies. I do feel better after drinking for some time. My allergies feel less intense and I do feel more "healthy" and protected. @beh353#beh353
@beh353 It feels like I am eating well or eating enough to function throughout the day. Eating foods that are beneficial. Also eating greens every day because it has lots of fiber.
