@joshuabalding@CasinoCapital Thanks - seems that it depends on the context. 16GB RAM would be multiples of 1024, but in things like cellular allowance then it is multiples of 1000. You learn something new every day!
@NottsInvestor@GreatBritishTT A 4% withdrawal rate will keep your capital stable. As a retiree, you don’t need that. You can be comfortable with your capital reducing slowly YoY until death
@NotMeNoMoreNow@LonTravelWatch@TfL A 20mph limit won’t help with average speeds being lower, versus a 30mph limit. There is obviously less traffic movement.
Let’s say the bus spends 50% of its time at 2mph, and 50% at the speed limit. With a 20mph limit, its average is 11mph, whereas at 30mph it’s 16mph
@RupertLowe10 Thanks, Rupert! Many organisations hide behind this concept of ‘Positive Action’, which they claim is allowed, but would reject the idea of ‘Positive Discrimination’. Please don’t let them keep Positive Action in
@DividendDrip Just remember that the £162k is likely worth only £97k in today’s money. Still a great start, but many love to shout about the annual growth rate without considering the annual inflation too
@British_Airways I raised a case a month ago about my evoucher, I got sent some generic links with no personalised response - awaited more info, and today I see the case is closed. My voucher expires in 2 days and no help. Can you assist?
@kelvmackenzie It wasn’t 3.5% in January - so I would love to see any evidence for that. At 60% LTV, the best was 3.7%, AFAIK. So the average was nowhere near 3.5%
