@J_fassler David Sirota fanatically constantly smeared Hillary in 2016 all the way up until the November election, and targeted anyone who pled with him not to for abuse, as did his followers. I tried to appeal to him because of the SCOTUS and was attacked.
@katrosenfield Textbook psychology. Later regret rewrites the story, rewrites the memory, and withdraws consent retroactively so the ego and self image stay intact.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of men were wrongly convicted by this "change of heart."
I don't think people quite understand the psychology of why this woman went from saying everything was consensual to saying it was rape.
For her, giving sex to all those men is an enormous risk to her health (sti's, pregnancy) and her reputation (she doesn't want to be the subject of gossip) in order to do something for them. This is why you see her focus so hard on making sure the men don't tell anyone. In her head, if she is going to take all that risk for those men and give them her body, she expects them to protect her reputation by keeping quiet and the reward her by making sure she gets to be "one of the guys" - a sort of friend of the frat who gets special privileges. After the night of sex when the men told others what happened and then uninvited her from their party, she felt like they did not hold up their end of the implicit bargain. in her head, she played the role of the cool girl for them, and then they threw her away. She went from feeling like "the cool chick," to feeling like a dupe who got used and tossed aside.
She sees her consent as contingent on their silence and a place in their group; "I never would have agreed to do those things had I known you would destroy my reputation, and kick me out of the group." In her head, since consent was contingent on being give a place in their group and their social protection, when they broke their end of the agreement her consent was (in her mind) contingent upon, her consent no longer holds.
That is the dynamic you are seeing play out here. I am not defending the behavior of anyone here, I am only explaining the mindset.
@mikenelson586 Yes, and it doesn't matter because he had the Magaverse media lined up to run with it. All they needed was an implication. Instead they committed the year's most laughable maga fuckup (Reflecting Pool excepted)
@mikenelson586 He mostly just wanted to mispronounce Willis' name and maybe get in a little recreational slut shaming. That's the kind of thing that really fires up the loins of the rapist pedophile he's performing the circus act for.
Sad news to report: my nephew (who was close to my age) shot himself today. I'm only sharing because nobody saw this coming - he was happily married and had four kids. This has everyone shook. If you are having thoughts of suicide, text or call 988.
@yellowsclub Now if it’s the good, legit black licorice, I’d go with it - no candy corn or fruitcake’s going to match a true quality licorice - even black - but my guess is this was posited with the cheapest ass black licorice in mind. So then no, gross - it’s just artificial and bad flavor.
