@alybartulio It’s difficult to add new code to a massive code base without regressions and unintended consequences. Also, you’re dealing with a magnitude of more people working in the same code base which creates coordination issues.
@anurag201320@benedictevans Multiple cameras don't mean much if your side, or front cameras are blinded by the sun, auto pilot/autosteer disengages. So yes, you do need most, if not all, of them to make FSD work! Re: No different than how we drive - the point is it to make driving safer than how we drive.
@anurag201320@benedictevans Vision only doesn't work when it's foggy, or when it's raining hard or when the sun shines directly into the camera, which happen quite often. I'd think Tesla has some smart engineers who know that already.
@Jason@jowyang@TerraKaffe Drinking coffee does not save the planet. It requires about 35 gallons(~130L) of water to produce beans enough for just one cup of coffee.
@BitcoinShaykh@nntaleb “Bitcoins can be divided up to 8 decimal places (0.000 000 01) and potentially even smaller units if that is ever required in the future as the average transaction size decreases.” — https://t.co/GTUIhobkp3
@adamnash Bitcoin seems to be positively correlated to speculation/risk taking in the stock market. Risk off days also see Bitcoin $ price falling. Which defeats the whole purpose of Bitcoin as a safe haven/guard against govt monetary policies.
@SawyerMerritt Take for example, there are only 2 people in the world who would buy company X’s stock, they keep bidding it up by selling the stock to each other at a higher price each time. Then X decides to release .001 share to them..
@SawyerMerritt Reading the comments here makes me wonder if it matters to Tesla’s investors at large whether the company makes money or not if they believe they can get enriched by the stock appreciation anyways.
