hello everyone!

it’s been a while since I’ve been active on here.

what I’m doing now: 3+ years in healthcare administrative role that deals with excel tools like pivot tables, Vlookup, etc. Also, I’m finishing up the Google data analytics cert

it’s frustrating because I want to break into tech but, I haven’t found something I like. I’m being patient and giving myself grace. Switching industries is really really hard.

confession: I don’t think coding or being a developer is for me. after attempting it several times, I really just don’t like it. I’m leaning towards data analysis atm.

I feel that women are pushed towards emotionally nurturing careers (healthcare,education,etc) instead of more logical and “manly” careers. I didn’t really consider technology to be an option for me until recently! But, we belong and we’re here to stay!
