Let me trace the timeline here because nobody's connecting it.
Step 1: Scrape the entire internet. Every book, every article, every conversation, every piece of art, every forum post. Do it without asking. Do it without paying.
Step 2: Train a model on all of it. Call it "artificial intelligence."
Step 3: Go to BlackRock's Infrastructure Summit and announce: "We see a future where intelligence is a utility, like electricity or water, and people buy it from us on a meter."
Step 3 is where you sell people's own knowledge back to them. On a meter.
They took the collective output of human thought, compressed it into a model, and now they want to charge you by the token to access a version of what you and everyone you know already created.
One Reddit user put it perfectly: "They stole all this data from us, the people, our life's work, creativity, art, by devouring the internet and blowing through all copyright laws. Now they want to sell it back to us in the form of a utility."
Imagine if someone photocopied every book in the public library, burned the library down, and then opened a subscription service for the copies.
That's the metered intelligence business model.
And they're pitching it to infrastructure investors as though they invented water.
They scraped the internet for every last bit of data, stole information from books, articles, art etc. all created by HUMANS, and now want to sell it back to you at a premium because you all have convinced yourselves this is the future and it’s inevitable lmao
The irony of slay the spire being used as a weapon against Marathon only to watch those same people now bash spire. These people don't care about games at all, they just need a new witch to hunt every single month.
> Todos jugaron Slay the Spire 2, nadie se quejó y fue un éxito
> Alguien descubre que Sarkeesian trabajó como consultora
> Nadie sabe específicamente cuál fue su rol ni qué hizo en el juego
> Empieza la carrera para inventar cualquier mamada para echarle la culpa
Call me old fashioned, but I think the soon to be 2x MVP should drive to the basket with the intent to score instead of driving to the basket with the intent to trick the ref.
Wow, Devin Booker absolutely RIPPED the referees postgame tonight when asked about his technical foul:
"It's definitely something that has to be looking it. I heard Caruso tell them to call the tech and he ended up doing it. In my 11 years, I haven't called a ref out by name, but James [Williams] was terrible tonight, through and through. It's bad for the sport, bad for the integrity of the sport. People are going to start viewing this as the WWE if they're not held responsible."
"So how does Slay the Spire II currently have a 'Mixed' rating on Steam?"
What he typed: an essay about how the system is fundamentally untrustworthy
The actual answer:
This is not a normal stat line for any player in NBA history except for Nikola Jokic. Anyone else does this & the media freaks out. This is just another decent day at the office for Jokic. People need to wake up and understand what we’re witnessing is greatness.
After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today.
I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.
It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC.
May God bless America.
