It was a privilege to inaugurate the Valedictory Ceremony of the Centenary Celebrations of the Academy of Comparative Philosophy and Religion (ACPR), Belagavi, Karnataka.
On this memorable occasion, I had the honour of releasing the Complete Works of Gurudev Dr. R.D. Ranade, a monumental 28 volume collection that preserves the enduring philosophical legacy of one of India’s greatest spiritual thinkers. I also released Deenara Dayaalu, a book dedicated to the life and philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, whose vision of Integral Humanism continues to guide our national development.
The visit was further marked by laying the foundation stone for the Centenary Auditorium and participating in a tree plantation drive, symbolising our shared commitment to nurturing both institutions of learning and the environment.
India’s civilisational strength lies in its ability to preserve timeless wisdom while creating new centres of knowledge for future generations. Institutions like ACPR play a vital role in carrying forward this rich intellectual and spiritual heritage.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Academy of Comparative Philosophy and Religion on completing 100 glorious years of dedicated service to philosophy, culture, and spiritual thought. May its journey continue to inspire scholars, seekers, and society for many more decades to come.
@ramprasad_c Hampi is working on a brand new renovation project. IIT's and top architects are involved. Hope we get something better soon. @gssjodhpur@tourismgoi
WHEN A RULING PARTY BECOMES DRUNK ON THE INTOXICANT OF POWER AND ENTITLEMENT.
Shiv Sena (Shinde faction) corporator Ramesh Mhatre allegedly assaulted a female doctor, a gynecologist, and multiple nursing staff members at the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation (KDMC)-run Shastrinagar Hospital in Dombivli, Maharashtra, following a dispute over the unavailability of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) beds.
THROW THIS CORPORATOR OUT OF THE PARTY AND JAIL HIM.
@RShivshankar Yes now @Dev_Fadnavis will take umbrage of ‘coalition dharma’ to not do anything, or worse he will order a ‘nishpaksh jaanch’ as always!!
This is triple engine Sarkar of @narendramodi and @AmitShah in Maharashtra at its best.
@RShivshankar Same corporator have assaulted doctors before too and no action have been taken against him that's why he doesnt fear the law. @mieknathshinde. If sufficient nicu beds are not available in govt hospital whose fault is it? Doctors or govt?
literally everyone is trying to loot the middle class man
the situation is going to be much worse in the next 6 months
now they're saying E25, there is no vehicle on the market that's compatible with E25
Have E0, E10 and E85
this should be good
if you want to promote Ethanol, just remove all taxes on flex fuel vehicles so that people want to use vehicles

@aar2dee29@theskindoctor13 Infact Honda should have taken a leap by using this major advantage. But they didn't. Stupidity...
How come they are still sleeping ?
What exactly is an E20-compliant vehicle? By definition, it's a vehicle engineered to safely and reliably run on E20 fuel. That also implies a non-E20-compliant vehicle is not designed for E20. Otherwise, the term "compliant" becomes meaningless.
So my question to Mr. @nitin_gadkari is simple: Why was E20 fuel rolled out nationwide when most vehicles on Indian roads were not E20-compliant?
If the answer is, "Nothing happens. Non-compliant vehicles can also run on E20," then what was the rationale behind mandating manufacturers to produce E20-compliant vehicles in the first place? Either E20 compatibility is technically necessary, in which case introducing E20 before the vehicle fleet was ready was questionable. Or it isn't necessary, in which case the compliance requirement itself appears redundant.
You can't simultaneously argue that E20 compliance is important enough to mandate for new vehicles, yet claim it doesn't matter because older, non-compliant vehicles can run on E20 anyway.
By the same logic, why stop at E20? Why not go full aatm-nirbhar and switch directly to E100? If compatibility doesn't matter, then non-E100-compliant vehicles should run on E100 too. Clearly, that's not how engineering works. So where exactly is the technical justification?
When Maharaja Chhatrasal was around 80 years old and surrounded by the Mughal forces, with little hope left from other rulers, he turned to the one man he believed could save Bundelkhand Peshwa Bajirao I.
According to a popular tradition, Chhatrasal sent Bajirao the famous couplet:
“The plight of Bundela today is like that of Gajendra caught in the jaws of the crocodile. Bajirao, the fate of Bundelkhand now rests in your hands—protect our honor.”
The message moved Bajirao deeply. It is often said that he immediately rose from his meal. When his wife asked him to finish eating first, Bajirao is believed to have replied:
“If I am late, history will say that a Kshatriya cried out for help while a Brahmin continued eating.”
Without delay, Bajirao marched toward Bundelkhand with extraordinary speed. Tradition holds that he covered a journey of nearly ten days in just 48 hours with a small cavalry force of about 500 horsemen, riding relentlessly to reach Chhatrasal before it was too late.
Bajirao’s swift campaign forced the Mughal commander Muhammad Khan Bangash to retreat and lifted the siege of Bundelkhand. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Chhatrasal is traditionally credited with saying:
“The world has seen only two great Brahmin warriors Parashurama and Bajirao. One humbled arrogant Kshatriyas, the other humbled the Turks.”
Bajirao Peshwa was one of India’s greatest military commanders, remaining undefeated in every major battle he fought. Instead of celebrating fictional cinematic heroes, we should introduce our children to the lives of real warriors like Bajirao, whose courage, leadership, and sense of duty shaped the course of Indian history.
Met a few potential customers/audience at the Mumbai T2 airport.
Discouraged them to spend big on cars and advised them to pick i20 CVT and Amaze CVT for City use as a use-and-throw cars (if not EVs)
As per the latest customer reports in North, all kind of petrol cars are hit (NA, Hybrid and Turbo GDi). Authorised service centres are getting 10+ cars flatbed daily.
All you actually need is 6 airbags, a basic screen for maps, central locking and an AC. Don’t overspend on a tech for which there is no clarity for the fuel after a few years. Something has silently gone wrong in the last two months particularly.
For decades, the standard critique against the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) was: "Where is the empirical data? Where are the peer-reviewed papers? It is all just mythology."
Now, when institutes like the IITs, IISc, & AIIMS are setting up dedicated research wings to rigorously test, validate & document these ancient sciences using modern, empirical protocols, the critics have panicked. They have switched from demanding proof to screaming "pseudoscience!" & "the brand is gone!"
For centuries, Western medicine dismissed the idea that the mind could heal the body as superstition. Today, neuroplasticity & the placebo effect are multi-billion-dollar fields of peer-reviewed research.
If a modern scientist discovers something new, it is called a "breakthrough." If an IKS researcher uses modern tools to prove that ancient Indians already knew that exact concept 1000s of years ago, it is called "pseudoscience."
In 2015, the Nobel Prize in Medicine was awarded to Tu Youyou for discovering Artemisinin (an anti-malarial drug) by looking into ancient Chinese medical texts. Similarly, India’s Ayush research ministries & global pharmacological bodies are finding peer-reviewed validation for compounds like Curcumin (Turmeric) & Ashwagandha for their anti-inflammatory & neuroprotective properties.
Why do these people have a problem with India documenting its own heritage?
If China can globally brand Traditional Chinese Medicine & the West can capitalize on indigenous knowledge, We have every right to scientifically document our own Itihasa & knowledge systems. Demanding peer-reviewed papers for decades & then throwing a tantrum when India actually starts producing them, shows intellectual dishonesty, not a love for science.
Be proud that we are witnessing the renaissance of Bhartiya knowledge. It is a long journey, but Satya always outlasts ideological noise.
Well done, IITs...Proud to be an alum.
