The thing is the people who don’t understand nuance are the only ones who eat up your garbage. Charlie’s stance on Israel was more a theological stance than a political stance. He’s plainly stated that. He criticized them politically when he felt it was necessary but he never changed theologically. He still stood with Israel in that sense and that was never going to change. Even your beloved Catholic Church says in the Second Vatican Council's declaration Nostra Aetate (1965):

"God holds the Jews most dear for the sake of their Fathers; he does not repent of the gifts He makes or of the calls He issues." (quoting Romans 11:28–29)

This is the foundational conciliar text for modern Catholic teaching on Judaism.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church also says:

"The Jewish faith, unlike other non-Christian religions, is already a response to God's revelation in the Old Covenant." (§839)

It continues:
"To the Jews belong the sonship, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises... for the gifts and the call of God are irrevocable." (§839, citing Romans 9 and 11)

The strongest and most explicit modern Vatican statement came in a 2015 document issued by the Commission for Religious Relations with the Jews titled ‘‘The Gifts and the Calling of God Are Irrevocable (Rom 11:29). It states:

"The Church is therefore obliged to view evangelization to Jews, who believe in the one God, in a manner different from that to people of other religions.”

And, most famously:
"That the Jews are participants in God's salvation is theologically unquestionable, but how that can be possible without confessing Christ explicitly is and remains an unfathomable divine mystery.”

@rabbriansamuel Sunday was never meant to replace the sabbath. It was a separate day to honor the resurrection in the early church. Sabbath still remains. Yeshua is Lord of Shabbat so, in my mind, that’s all the more reason to keep it!
