πΈ Happy birthday, Eddie Cochran!
He was born on this day in 1938 and gave us "Summertime Blues," "C'mon Everybody," and "Three Steps to Heaven" before he passed at just 21. His 1955 Gretsch 6120, with the neck pickup swapped for a Gibson P-90, helped shape the sound of rock and roll.
Now the part that has me speechless. My birthday is October 11, and I've been planning to treat myself to a guitar. Today I finally ordered it: the Gretsch G6120 Eddie Cochran Signature Hollow Body, in Western Maple Stain, with a Lindy Fralin "Dog Ear" P-90 in the neck, a DynaSonic in the bridge, and a Bigsby. I had no idea until after I clicked "order" that it was his birthday.
Call it a coincidence if you want, but I'm taking it as a sign. πΆ
Happy birthday, Eddie. See you on the 11th, guitar. π

@techhalla That is living it up right there. As long as you're happy, F everyone else. Gimmie some Slayer, a jack Daniels, and a BBQ I can sit at. Living the Dream!
@fuelkek Good thing is, you don't have to be rich for that. You just need less stuff and cut crap out of your life, gets cheaper quick. Complicate life and you needs millions.
I heard her say that during Covid and every year afterwards. That BTC was going to hit a million by the end of that year, and the next year. So she finally gave up saying "by the end of the year". She and that ETH dude that keeps buying ETH with other people's money are PAWNS in this crypto game to sucker in Retail.
I believe this to be True. Out of all the social media news. This one I actually do believe. Of course WH posting this after buying million shares in Kroger.
FUN FACT: Did you know breathing through your left nostril while closing your right nostril can lower cortisolby activating the parasympathetic nervous system, the trigger of relaxation! Activates the flight or fight. Using the left side promotes calm, rest-and-digest state.
Fun Fact 2: Brushing your teeth with you non-dominant hand builds new neural paths.
#3 - No energy - splash cold water on your face for 30 seconds. Diving reflex kicks in, which sends oxygen to your brain, faster than an energy drink.
#4 - HEART RACING - Place your hand on your chest and exhale slowly for 8 seconds. Slows your heartbeat and activates the vagus nerve. Trick that Navy SEALs do before combat.
Back to work.
Keep on Building... ππ₯
gahhh.. OK TURN OFF SOCIAL MEDIA β Back to building ANONSURF on PARROT OS for Rapberry Pi 5. Then I can finally write article 1 of probably going to be 3 or so (conservative number) of what I've learned, the do's, don't, where I got lost. Commands, codes, github repo's, etc. All the meaty stuff will be an article 1. Enough to get you built up and safely on the Web while being cloaked/secure and anonymous, for the people that don't like BIG BROTHER following you around on the net, and TECH giants knowing your every move. I think it's always good to have a back up ANON OS for research or if you are a journalist writing some kind of political or whistleblowing article and need to stay unknown. See less

I'm also new to this arena of reaching out to others and expanding with like minded individuals. I been so use to doing things on my own. Life wasn't meant to be done alone. Nor is DEV, coding, computing, buisness, entrepreneurship. Great to meet you and hope to meet other like minded individuals, together we ccan build anything, we don't have to all be competitors.
@pratikdunya lol... i just spent 15 minutes the other day before the gym trying to slowly pinch the string back out, hate when that happens. This is actually good to know... :)
Just finished Claude Platform 101 through Anthropic Academy.
One thing that stuck with me: most people use AI like a search engine. The ones getting real value use it like a thinking partner.
What's the biggest mindset shift AI made you make?
You know what, this song popped in my head at the gym... After going over the bills, tik tok and taxes. Middle Class forget it, The American Dream has been killing me in tech. So I BUILD my own technology! That is my answer! I been on a Green Day kick for a few months... By the way their concert where they played Dookie, American Idiot, Saviors Tour was AWESOME!!!
