Research Scientist @ The AI Institute; PhD in Robotics from @Yale; spent time with @Amazon and TU Darmstadt; typically thinking about human and robot hands
The new May issue of Science #Robotics is out! Read about robotic hands that can "fidget" with objects, thanks to its palm; why building robotic mothers may not be the best idea; #kirigami robotic grippers; and more to come: https://t.co/wgJSGr0JzX
This weekend I had the pleasure of being in Zürich to announce our new office for the AI Institute. If you're interested in a Research Scientist or Applied Scientist role, please apply at https://t.co/qQVZayiqYQ. Exciting times are ahead for us in robotics!
Enjoyed my visit to @RiceUniversity to give a lecture on what I believe the future may look like for robot hands. I also realized that in a past life, I was probably a rocket boy @NASA.
I realized recently that I sorta missed sharing my thoughts about #robots with the community. Well, I'm reviving my account to (sometimes) comment on what looks promising (and not promising) in the field.
Really cool write up about @asmorgan24's work. He also gave a fantastic general audience talk about robots for our Exploring Science series: https://t.co/mQNR1uZxYX
