आरटीओ अधिकाऱ्यांने ट्रकचालकाला ₹१५,००० दंड ठोठावला आणि कागदपत्रे घेउन पसार झाला. संतप्त चालकाने ट्रक महामार्गावरच आडवा लावून सोडून दिला. परिणामी तासनतास वाहतूक कोंडी झाली.

जर परिवहन विभागाच्या यंत्रणेत बेकायदेशीर दंड किंवा लाच मागितली जात असेल, तर त्याची जबाबदारी फक्त कनिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्याची नाही. परिवहन मंत्री आणि परिवहन सचिव यांची जबाबदारी जास्त आहे.
