The book does not just publish results from our simulations, but also gives an extensive background of the models used, a chapter on validation of the simulations and also lessons learned from the whole project.

The simulation tool that is being developed at Umeå University to help decision-makers in their actions to prevent the spread of corona now shows excellent results. @frankdignum@assocc1#artificialintelligence#AI#covid19
Join this week's #frAIday: Cezara Pastrav on "Agent models in Unity – reaching outside academia" reporting on the @assocc1 project on #coronacrisis simulation. To register for this and coming #frAIday seminars: https://t.co/Grm8u8MNSY

@vdignum@wooldridgemike@assocc1 It’s not the software that was the actual problem, but the effect of control measures on the reproduction number - a parameter model. It dropped faster than anticipated (and I know why). But I agree, that software for bug decisions must follow high standards and opneness.

SCOOP: Google has drastically rolled back its diversity work due to fears of being perceived as anti-conservative. Sources say employees have been pushed out, programs cut, and workers have been discouraged from even using the word diversity anymore https://t.co/1SwuEBsAIZ
