@ConcernedApe I love Stardew Valley. But why did you have to subject your loyal fans to Ticketmaster for the Stardew Valley: Symphony of Seasons concert?
@TheKevinDalton@YieldHunterX@eyeofbass Telling people what to do does not work well; how often do you see people roll through stop signs or drive past the speed limit? The street design is the number one contributing factor to safer streets; if a street is designed for highway speeds, people will drive highway speeds.
@TheKevinDalton@eyeofbass The streets were not designed to be safe for pedestrians; they are designed for the car, everyone else is secondary. This law makes the streets just a bit safer. You should look both ways to cross the street, but why is it only on the ped? This makes it easier for the driver.
@Ally should really move away from text based #2factorauthetification and use an authenticator app like @2FAS_com@enteio. See this video to see just how vulnerable SMS 2FA is https://t.co/OmKCj18asP
@LastWeekTonight@iamjohnoliver should do an episode on #carDependency: something that has eroded our cities, environment, personal freedom, has killed so many people, and has exacerbated the hobbling crisis. Seems on brand also. #urbanism
5 LA Councilmembers introduced a motion on traffic signal priority:
In 60 days: Create dwell recall guidelines
In 120 days: Plan for dwell recall, signal priority/preemption for rail and bus lanes
180 days: Create citywide transit first policy for signals

@inebriatedtiger @krlos_official @chemdawgrei@Karmir_Kovkas@metrolosangeles@818perkins@stopthegondola That’s a very self-defeatist. We need to show the people how it will benefit them and have daring politicians who will think of the future. We need to have younger people speaking in city government meetings and as electeds. It’s possible. But not easy.
