All for a debate but why people are fighting this is a bit silly. Most countries in Europe have an ID, it’s actually more bonkers that in the UK it’s your passport (which is expensive) or driving license (which some people don’t qualify for) 🤨🧐
This year’s Cosplay Contest was a heartfelt tribute to @peachyxbell, who sadly passed earlier this year. A true inspiration and a cherished part of the Dota 2 family. ♥️ @SteelSeries
We thank everyone in Barclays Arena for the beautiful gesture of remembrance.

July 20th, 1969 is a date that stands high in my life – it was the day that we, together as one people, achieved the greatest scientific and technological feat in human history. The specific role that Neil, Mike and I performed in the event was but one part of an immeasurably larger effort – not just for our nation, but for all mankind. As I look back on what we accomplished 55 years ago, I am still inspired by what we all saw and did – the best of America and the best of humanity. Thank you for the privilege and the honor of serving you, and for being part of this exciting and wonderous journey with me. #Apollo11
Despite arriving late on Friday, this bad boy DID get posted earlier this week. Time for some change around these parts, don’t you think? #GeneralElection24
Dydd Gwyl Dewi Hapus Pawb! Happy St David’s Day! 🏴 🌼
Whilst I may have left my Daffodil hat at home in the move to 🇨🇭, do enjoy these photos of us celebrating last year 🌼
Controversial (?) take but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a 3-4 year degree to hold some value. Especially considering how much it costs to get it?
“You should take a pay cut! That’s how it works!” - Sounds to me like the education system itself needs reworking 🤔
I don’t know who is telling these kids that a generic degree is equivalent to experience or makes you qualified for high-paying roles, but it simply does not
We are pleased to announce the initiation of ASPIRE-FTD, a Phase 1/2 study of AVB-101, a potentially transformative investigational #GeneTherapy for people with #FrontotemporalDementia (#FTD) with mutations in the progranulin (GRN) gene.

Really failing to understand how immunohistochemistry or a western blot can be described as ‘woke’ 🙄🙄
Just in case it wasn’t clear before, this government has lost the plot #VoteThemOut
NEW: Conservatives are safeguarding scientific research from the denial of biology and the steady creep of political correctness.
@michelledonelan announces plans to depoliticise science at #CPC23
#ZNZ Neuroscience Symposium 2023! Some really fantastic speakers/posters. Some of my favourites - @sjo09 for their brill (and funny 😂) talk on the engram and Prof. Frank Bradke on his work on axon regeneration.
Not a bad week to start a #PhD 👩🎓 in a whole new country 🏴 ➡️ 🇨🇭
Well that’s it! 2023 NASA United Space School, over and out!
Some highlights:
• Met 3 Astronauts! inc Kenneth Cockrell, Mike Baker & Bill McArrhur
• Meeting George Abbey again!
• Working with this wonderful team of mentors 😎
• Mentoring students from across the Globe 🌍
Now I’ve had some cool experiences so far, but having a tour of NASA’s Rocket Park by the person it’s named after is prettttty cool.

Day 1 of United Space School - Team Selection. This group of (extremely intelligent) teens will be designing a Martian Habitat for long-duration missions.
They’re a fun bunch too 😎

In 2017, I had the opportunity of a lifetime to be selected as a student of NASA United Space School…
…and now, in 2023, I have had the AMAZING opportunity to come back as a Mentor for the Program.
NASA changed my life trajectory completely. It’s awesome to be back! 🚀
