Hi all, it's been awhile since I've been active on here, but just wanted to pop in one last time and say you can find me at https://t.co/mSlaUPSCi7 from now on!
Thanks to a new @galaxyzoo citizen science project launched today, you can help identify the shapes of thousands of galaxies in images taken by the @ESA_Euclid space telescope👇 https://t.co/GTBHsgiGEk

On Nov. 15, our first cohort will make history as the first incarcerated students in the U.S. to graduate with a bachelor's degree from a top 10 university.
To celebrate this monumental achievement, we're highlighting a different graduate every day.
To start, Robert Boyd.
It was so lovely to host @Hozier for a visit to @Perimeter yesterday! We talked black holes and dark matter, quantum gravity and the Einstein Field Equations. Such a rare pleasure to get to share my passion for physics with someone whose work is so meaningful to me!
Please see this thread for a (growing) list of junior scholars who contributed a significant number of RVs to the recent CPS paper but who were neither acknowledged nor asked to be on the paper, which instead gave authorship to a notorious harasser
This is a travesty
@emilydoesastro I always forget it isn’t normal to have the cursor speed set to max until my partner uses my computer. He *has* to turn down the speed, otherwise he says he can’t follow how fast it moves 😅
Last day of #AAS241 tomorrow! I'll be talking about our latest work to establish a new tracer of interstellar gas in galaxies: recombination lines at low radio frequencies! 📡 Hope to see you there (Thursday) in Room 611 during the 2-3:30pm session.
Great talk on OH megamasers by @astrohayley — a huge increase in the number of new sources on the horizon (and some nice machine learning work shown by Hayley on removing contamination).
(Of course rad to see a picture touching the @GreenBankObserv dish! 📡
Hi #AAS241 I'm giving my dissertation talk tomorrow Monday Jan 9th at 10:10am in the Starburst Galaxies session! Come by and listen to me explain what exactly I've been working on these past few years! #122.02D
Thankful for this moment to take a break from thesis writing and constantly applying for postdocs to observe (and be confounded by) my favorite objects ✨
Bro, just come skiing with me. Lift tickets cost $150 per day and you can rent skis for another $50 and you can get a lesson for another $120. It’s so fun and your risk of injury is so high. C’mon bro, you won’t feel your hands & you’ll get sunburn on your face. Bro.
@GrifffT@mysweetlord@petaplaysbass@_____apok I’m obsessed with the song that plays at ~2:33 in this episode. What song is it and does it exist anywhere I can purchase it? Thank you!
