Odyssey discourse has brought me to back to Fagles, though this time listening to Ian McKellan read it on Audible (I know I know). He's great. Esp if you've read Fagels, you'll really hear what he brings to the table. If you just listen to the free sample, you'll see what I mean.

I love that my twitter circle has been discussing translations of The Odyssey instead of the usual business. My take is that what little I've read of Wilson sounds pedestrian to me, but it scans. Admirable to have attempted a blank verse translation.
