So, I am nearing the end of my masters program, and since it is Pride month, I thought I would share with you all what I have been up to for the last 3yrs. To be blunt, it's got to do with gay stuff...(1/?)🏳️🌈

Premier Smith and the UCP have blood on their hands. This is an absolute tragedy that could have been prevented.
The Premier must end her discriminatory policies now. How many more deaths will it take to stop this hate? #ableg#abpoli#cdnpoli
Let’s talk about the facts.
Not conspiracies, not false myths spread on social media – facts.
Danielle Smith’s policy targeting trans and gender-diverse youth is an attack on a vulnerable group of youth and on thousands of Albertans. It is a massive overstep into private health care decisions. And it is an attack on the fundamental education rights of kids in our province.
But don’t take it from me: listen to the experts and allies in our video. Listen to the people with real, lived experiences.
Share this video and information with your friends and help combat the misinformation being spread by the Alberta government.
Sign our petition and tell Danielle Smith to stop pursuing these proposed changes.
Tell her that Albertans believe all human rights must be protected.

I'm old enough to remember the Vriend case. Also, the debate over same-sex marriage in 2005. This article draws important parallels between 1998 and today. #abpoli

Attacks on sexual and gender diverse students and school staff are increasing to exceptional and troubling levels. We must stand up to hate when we see and hear it.
Hate has no place in our public schools.
Stop telling educators to practice self-care. Instead, put forth energy to eliminate the systems, structures, and practices that require educators to need so much self-care in the first place.
Over 2,700 people have already sent a letter demanding the #ClearcutLogging in #Kananaskis be cancelled — but construction on infrastructure like roads and bridges has already begun 🚧

There were a couple wrong turns but @TMCCBE gr 9 environmental stewardship students made it to the Three Herons site with @insideeducation. We got right to work assessing the site in different ways.
