Today is a day for the Polish dead of Volhynia. Their memory belongs to Poland. It is sacred to Polish families. It deserves to be honored.
Today should also be a day for the Ukrainian dead of Bereza Kartuska, Sahryń, Pawłokoma, Operation Vistula, and Jaworzno. Their memory belongs to Ukraine. It is sacred to Ukrainian families. It deserves to be honored too.
My own grandfather and grandmother served in the Ukrainian Insurgent Army – he Ukrainian, she Polish. They fought both Nazis and Soviets. They hid a Jewish family in their home. They fought for an independent Ukraine. They understood, as many contemporary Polish and Ukrainian citizens still understand, that the future of both peoples depended on each other, and that russia was the enemy of both.
A B.C man states he was detained by the RCMP for a Regina event he tried organize on Facebook. The event was supposed to be a pork BBQ outside a new mosque in Regina’s downtown which had recently made national headlines for their outdoor call to prayer. The Facebook event went viral and The National Council of Canadian Muslims called on leaders to, “Denounce this event and to acknowledge that this form of Islamophobic intimidation is dangerous.” The BBQ never ended up taking place.
This is the best and funniest thing you’ll see this week…
Mike Nichols and Elaine May reuniting after 17 years at Jimmy Carter’s 1977 Inaugural Gala for their classic “First Jewish President” mother-son skit.
This is GOLD🤣😂🔥
Energy Institute just released its latest Statistical Review of World Energy.
Surprise: The vast majority of global energy consumption is oil, coal, and gas! A tiny proportion is solar and wind—and that’s not reliable energy, it’s fuel-saving for reliable energy.
Heartbreaking that she couldn't get proper medical care in Canada. One can only imagine how many other Canadians are suffering adverse effects from Covid vaccines.
"Seeing our podcast and our interview with Ambassador Hoekstra being mentioned by media outlets around the world has been incredibly rewarding. But I'm just a lowly academic from Halifax. It's not normal for someone like me to obtain critical information that mainstream media should have uncovered in the first place."

The story of Israel begins with a people deeply rooted in the land of Judea, where their ancestors built kingdoms, temples, and a rich culture thousands of years ago.
Invaded time and again by empires like the Romans, Byzantines, Arabs, Crusaders, Ottomans, and British, the Jews were scattered across the globe. Their holy sites were desecrated, their communities destroyed, and their identity suppressed.
Yet through it all, a dream persisted: the return to Zion. This wasn’t just nostalgia. It was a rightful claim to indigeneity, backed by unbroken historical ties, archaeology, and spiritual connection.
Zionism emerged as a movement of hope and self-determination, rebuilding the homeland through hard work, legal land purchases, and international recognition, not conquest.
The ruminant family, and the one job each member does that nothing else can:
Cattle: turn a wet hillside into milk and beef, and build the soil while they stand on it
Sheep: grow a fireproof, compostable fibre every year on grass and rain
Goats: eat the scrub, bramble and invasive weed that chokes everything else out
Water buffalo: make the milk that becomes real mozzarella, on marshland a cow would sink in
Yak: live and give milk at altitudes that would kill any lowland animal
Reindeer: feed and clothe whole peoples above the Arctic Circle, on lichen and moss
Bison: engineer an entire prairie ecosystem simply by grazing across it
Seven animals, one gift each, none of them replaceable by a machine or a crop.
Every one of them classed, this decade, as a liability.
This is THE best thing you’ll see today 🤣
Three cyclists are calmly riding along in the Cape, in South Africa, when a massive male ostrich decides they’ve entered his territory. What follows is pure chaos.
This bird is FAST, aggressive, and absolutely committed. The cyclists’ reaction is priceless.
Male ostriches can reach 70km/h and deliver kicks strong enough to kill predators. These guys picked the right time to sprint for their lives 😂
