Over the past few weeks, the Cereals and Oilseeds Team in Harrington has been busy harvesting their plots.

We’re looking forward to seeing the results from the Maritime Performance and Registration Tests!

For the first time in six years, Canadian grain is leaving the Port of Churchill. A shipment with about 30,000 tonnes of wheat will head to Europe this week, followed by the Port's first-ever potash shipment.

By investing in Canadian infrastructure and expanding our trade corridors, we're strengthening our economy, supporting northern and Indigenous communities, and ensuring Canada is never dependent on a single market.

Yesterday, the team @NSPerennia wrapped up harvesting the mini ww plots. With 450+ plots hand harvested, the next steps are to manually thresh the samples and run them through a seed cleaner. From there the list will be narrowed down and the selections will be re-plant in Sept.
