@crisis_uk I have contacted my MP and await his comments. I used to work in the courts many years ago and I'm horrified that the attitude of our Government today towards homeless people continues to be so uncaring
100% of the population needs access to a loo several times a day to keep healthy. Why aren't public toilets considered important? They are a necessity for all people and all ages. It's ridiculous they're not part of our country's health & wellbeing. It's time for common sense!
@TrucknDriver If there is overnight parking available there should also be toilets! This is a great oversight by the powers that be. Access to a toilet is vital to keep healthy-surely this is obvious by now. What century are we in?
@rolobrad @RHANews@TrucknDriver@Mark_J_Harper@GBNEWS@BBCNews@itvnews@Conservatives@UKLabour So, can we presume that are there now plans in progress to install safe places to rest in peace without worrying about goods getting stolen? We are all very dependant on deliveries but it seems that safety of goods and drivers continue to be ignored! Why?
@banbloodsports This is horrendous - along with other awful treatment of wild animals. There should be severe sentences for such behaviour. What's the matter with people?
@loos4london @LawAspi @BladderAndBowel So what's the point? Someone with that card needs the loo urgently. Why refuse someone in dire need? Noone carries the card for fun, it's embarrassing enough
@rolobrad @Mark_J_Harper@dougierankine@RHANews@UKLabour It's about time for action. No secure overnight facilities puts lives in danger! What century are we in for heaven's sake!!!!
@rolobrad @DacorumBC@dougierankine I wonder what Council members would do should they need a loo when out and about? 'Holding on' because of lack of facilities can seriously affect health. Having access to roadside services would solve the problem
@leannetritton @loos4london @londonsoc@ageuklondon Even the beach toilets I visited in Australia were very clean in spite of sand on the floor. They obviously care about hygiene
@ClareDelmar@Dr_Ellie@londonsoc@Rob_Fiehn@ageuklondon@CarolineRussell@ElvinBox@MPrinParr I've had a great number of discussions with MPs et al over the years on this subject & still there is a lack of toilets. Why? We all need the loo but Government et al fail to take action even though it's a health issue & dish out fines for those caught in unsuitable places
@RHAKateGibbs@rbtsteve Excellent news. It's taken a long time and hard work from Truckers Toilets UK who started the campaign many years ago and thanks to the support and perseverance of the RHA for pressurising Government. Decent facilities for drivers are at last beginning to take root!
Yesterday at full council, we confirmed that weโve taken the decision to raise council tax by 4.99% from April 2024. Your increased council tax contributions mean that we will be able to spend over ยฃ1billion this year delivering excellent council services: https://t.co/Omi1MfXRVT
@loos4london I only go to London is I know there is a toilet at my destination. If there is no toilet available I don't go. I don't go to London on a whim
