.@Conductor I’m very surprised you use Google keyword planner’s broad MSV ranges for tracked keywords. Do you have any plans to move away from this? It’s very confusing that you use @semrush MSV in your discover section, but KP for tracked keywords.
@JohnMu Ah sorry don’t mean to be 💃 It’s completely white hat - just different messaging on a landing page for members vs non members! Definitely not cloaking 😅 thank you John!
.@JohnMu I know you provided your pov on this back in 2018, but curious if it’s changed - Can personalized dynamic content hurt your rankings if h1 tag is different & substantial sections of body copy? Experience is different for logged in vs non-logged in users. tyia!
@joehall I don’t know if this counts - but Google? I constantly plug in the primary keywords I want to rank for and manually examine the search landscape and the content that’s ranking.
One of the crazier SEO experiments I ever ran was to and 2x the font size by for anchor text, but exclusively on *internal* links
The hypothesis was they may get more clicks and/or pass more PageRank internally
Did it work?
The experiment is still running 5 years later.
Fantastic guerilla marketing by Polo mints!
Much of the low-cost guerilla marketing I see is invasive, unsightly, and ought to be illegal, but this is anything but ‘tasteless’ 😁

@mhc_inc Don’t be afraid of jumping out of your lane and injecting yourself in other team’s conversations, e.g. UI/UX design decisions, as they will likely have major SEO implications. Also, do the research and back it with data to add more value to those conversations.
