@mitchellbyars A visit to the (formerly worlds largest) musical fountain in Grand Haven, preceded by a visit to Max’s South Seas Hideaway tiki bar in Grand Rapids is an amazing combo in between your two destinations.
@MBforBoulder @elephantboulder The outdoor dining on West Pearl has been the reason my family has been frequenting the restaurants and shops there for more than a year now. If that goes away we’ll have to be moving that to places that still have outdoor seating. It was nice, but at least we’ll have Rayback
@Tasko_jp 《Perfumery Organ》 2015
A scented organ inspired by the "scented scale", a scented scale devised by the British scientist Pies in the 19th century. It is a rare incense instrument in the world that plays sound and scent at the same time.
@Matt_Alt That was awesome. Thank you for posting that clip! I'd seen them as (rebranded) "Lov Bo Gi Bots" that Bandai sold in the US, but did not know they were whiskey mascots.
@1MarkMcIntyre@SouthwestAir On a @SouthwestAir flight two weeks ago, the senior flight attendant was wearing a plastic mesh mock-mask throughout the flight. Sort of a malicious compliance prop. It conveyed a clear message to the passengers on Southwest’s regard for their health and safety.
@BobMoline I’m glad you reached out. Do you ever work on/repair anything from your collection? It has some delamination in the layers of the type1 detachable between the aluminum and black plastic. I’m forever torn about trying to clean and reglue - but don’t know what they used orig
@BobMoline Well thanks Bob! I have some mystery/ puzzles around the thing that keep me entertained for sure. Do you know if the Starfleet Command versions used metal/cast bodies? I’m pretty certain that the whole body of the phaser is cast metal rather than resin.
@BobMoline Hi Bob. I do! Though ill I’ll have to look at the “collectibles yet to be unpacked” boxes from our last house move. Much of the trek and robots fun stuff is still within. Do you collect trek things in general or phasers in particular?
