Bidi Lighting Becomes Dangerous! Vadodara Worker Burnt

A labourer sustained burn injuries after a sudden fire erupted while he was lighting a bidi inside a toilet at Tulsi Bhai’s Chali in Vadodara’s Salatwada area. Family members rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control. The injured man was admitted to Sayaji Hospital for treatment. Officials suspect a possible gas leak following recent pipeline work, and an investigation has been initiated by the gas department and Karelibaug Police.

વડોદરાના સલાટવાડા વિસ્તારમાં તુલસીભાઈની ચાલીમાં શૌચાલયમાં બીડી સળગાવતાની સાથે જ અચાનક ભડકો થતા એક શ્રમજીવી દાઝી ગયા હતા. ઘટનાના તરત બાદ તેઓ શૌચાલયની બહાર દોડી આવ્યા અને બૂમાબૂમ કરતાં પરિવારજનો દોડી આવી આગ પર કાબૂ મેળવ્યો હતો.ઇજાગ્રસ્તને તાત્કાલિક સારવાર માટે સયાજી હોસ્પિટલમાં ખસેડવામાં આવ્યા છે. પ્રાથમિક માહિતી મુજબ થોડા સમય પહેલાં વિસ્તારમાં ગેસ લિકેજની કામગીરી કરવામાં આવી હતી જેના કારણે આગ લાગી હોવાની શંકા વ્યક્ત કરવામાં આવી રહી છે. ગેસ વિભાગ અને કારેલીબાગ પોલીસે સ્થળ પર પહોંચી તપાસ શરૂ કરી છે.

વડોદરા શહેરના નેશનલ હાઇવે 48 પર ફરી એક વખત ભારે ટ્રાફિકજામ સર્જાયો હતો,જામ્બુવા બ્રિજથી લઈને વરણામા સુધી લગભગ 10 કિલોમીટર સુધી વાહનોની લાંબી લાઈનો લાગી ગઈ હતી.પીક અવર દરમિયાન થયેલા આ જામમાં હજારો વાહન ચાલકો કલાકો સુધી ફસાયા હતા.વારંવાર થતી ટ્રાફિકજામની સમસ્યાને લઇને વાહન ચાલકોમાં ભારે રોષ જોવા મળ્યો હતો.ટ્રાફિક પોલીસ અને નેશનલ હાઇવે ઓથોરિટીના વ્યવસ્થાપન પર સવાલ ઊભા કરવામાં આવ્યા છે.લોકોને ઘણી મુશ્કેલીનો સામનો કરવો પડ્યો હતો.
