OpenPay Platform Update

A major step in OpenPay’s development has now been completed.

After carefully reviewing the requirements needed for the KYB process and Mainnet listing, we have successfully implemented the necessary changes and removed the features identified as incompatible with the requirements for the next stage.

OpenPay is now operating with a simplified and focused platform structure centered around the Pi ecosystem.

What Can You Do on OpenPay Now?

The platform is now focused on its core functions:

Send & Receive — Users can send and receive supported assets through OpenPay.

Pi to OUSD Cash In — Users can cash in using Pi and receive OUSD within OpenPay.

With these changes, OpenPay is now focusing and revolving around Pi, with the platform streamlined to support its core payment functionality within the Pi ecosystem.

The decision to remove the previous services was made to ensure OpenPay can better align with the requirements necessary for the next stage of development. While these features were an important part of our journey, simplifying the platform allows us to focus our resources and attention on what matters most moving forward.

We have now completed the required removals, and our attention shifts toward the next steps of the KYB and Mainnet listing process.

There is still work ahead, but this marks an important milestone for OpenPay.

We sincerely thank every Pioneer who has supported us throughout this process. Your patience, feedback, and continued support have helped OpenPay reach this stage.

OpenPay is becoming simpler, more focused, and increasingly centered around Pi.

The next chapter begins now.

OPENPAY OFFICIAL UPDATE

OpenPay is no longer available as a Testnet app within the Pi Apps ecosystem.

Effective immediately, users accessing OpenPay through the Pi Apps platform will be redirected to the OpenPay Mainnet platform at https://t.co/Q2lBfCKWOB.

This transition marks another important step forward for OpenPay as we continue to advance the platform and prepare for the next stage of development.

More updates are coming soon. Stay tuned as we have more developments and announcements ahead.

OpenPay Update — We’ve Completed Our Part @PiCoreTeam

To all Pi Pioneers questioning or criticizing OpenPay:

OpenPay has already completed and submitted the requirements on our side. We have submitted our KYB application, and we are also waiting for the required Mainnet listing, token launchpad, and other Pi Network-side approvals.

On the integration side, OpenPay has already implemented Pi Authentication and Pi Payments, and we have built our OUSD token ecosystem.

The screenshot above confirms that our KYB submission has been recorded.

At this point, the remaining steps are on the Pi Network side. We are still waiting for review, approval, and an official update. We cannot control the timeline of Pi Network’s internal verification and listing process.

We understand that some Pioneers are frustrated because they want to see OpenPay fully recognized on Mainnet. We are frustrated too. But please don’t assume that OpenPay is incomplete or ignoring the requirements.

We have done our part. Now we are waiting for Pi Network.

We will continue building, improving, and supporting the Pi ecosystem while we wait for the official response.

OpenPay is ready. We’re waiting for the green light.
