Civilization was built by people like this, and there is a stunning lack of gratitude in our culture for their work.

In this specific case, at least half of the apple varieties in Brown’s collection were considered “lost” until he personally tracked them down and saved them.

He literally went on quests where he did things like, tracking a lost variety back to a stump of a long-ago-cut-down tree near an abandoned homestead in remote Appalachia, took cuttings from the green shoots coming out of the stump, brought them back and planted them.

Biden's record is genocide, expanding warrantless mass surveillance, expanding ICE, expanding private prisons, suppressing protests, dropping the Covid plan he ran on and killing even more people from Covid than Trump during his first 14 months in office despite having the vaccine. He increased sanctions on Venezuela and had a bounty on its president. He increased drilling and broke multiple environmental laws to build Trump's wall.

Biden set up the horrors we are now seeing under Trump but so many Democrats were out to brunch and only protest bad things if done by a Republican.

I used to think that maybe if republicans cancel/rig elections then libs would start to wake up and realize that there’s things they need to do beyond voting and screeching about voting. That maybe they’d realize how much bigger the problem is and how much more is required of them to solve it. But now I realize that if/when that happens they’re just going to throw up their hands and say “well the elections wouldn’t be canceled if you leftists had just voted for Kamala in 2024 and now there’s nothing we can ever do!”
