Apparently you can opt in or opt out of accepting Uber jobs via Curb. The question for me is how can any cab driver in good conscience pay CC processing fees to a company that’s in a business partnership with Uber.
FreeNow has, once again, shown its true colours. It’s time we stepped up to fight for the trade- and that includes fully backing the businesses that are committed to the taxi trade.
For the first time, there are two serious “work-focussed” alternatives. These are: Jump (part of the @TaxiworldLDN system) and the recently launched @blackcabcom - which is open to all drivers.
New platforms only succeed with a collective effort. If we want to take back control of our work and safeguard the future of the trade, we need to give these apps the strongest possible support.
@FreeNow_UK so your new 10% discount scheme for riders that you claim is split between the drivers and yourselves is a lie. You are actually charging riders a £5.99 subscription fee per month in addition @TheLTDA
Will the @metpoliceuk stop hiding behind phone boxes with a speed gun and stop these fast food delivery bikes….. been told a complete scam, drivers not who you think they are and drug delivery service 😡😡😡
This infestation of delivery bikes is now becoming unbearable. They are riding around without any regard for the traffic laws. Also, they are delivering food, but how clean and hygienic are they?
Something must be done about them. They are a menace.
CMT in partnership with UBER . If you rent and the cabs CMT change your garage. Any fleet with CMT should be ashamed of themselves. One Tier or Two it’s up to you
Man burns Quran outside Turkish embassy in London.
Muslim emerges with a knife and stabs him.
A passing Deliveroo cyclist kicks him.
Why are these people in my country?
This violence is entirely predictable.
We should not import it. We should expel it
