@Camp4 I’ve watched this more times than I can count.
It was always on the PBS when I was younger.
Amazing he not only built his own cabin and lived there alone but captured it on 60s era video cameras.
@LutfiSol@rokhladnik Maybe end of summer/school starting
Budgets are stretched more than normal due to being post summer vacation and back to school shopping
@BowTiedBroke Had that feeling the first time I went out west.
I took 70 through Kansas, found myself without a tree in sight for the first time in my life. Started feeling small and exposed real quick
@gregmushen Set time based on when the sunrises. Sunrise is perpetually at 5:30 and the clock shifts a little each day
It’s a crazy idea but with modern tech it would be possible.
@PaulSkallas Why don’t we throw it all out and set up a new time system where sunrise is always 6am and the time shifts every day to match.
Technology would allow it most clocks are connected. I haven’t changed a clock in years
@ron_ecomm Given his background odds are if it flopped he could find a check for the next thing. Maybe that helped
Pretty sure it was this interview he talked about shutting down what sounded like the start of a decent business 6 months in because it it just wouldn’t have been big enough
@calebsloop More CPG brands should have physical places
Even if you don’t want to get in the coffee shop business do a one off roastery in Nashville and maybe half a dozen shops in select tourist destinations
@rossiadam@ErikKaiser Having children is the closest we can get to a fountain of youth
Nothing will bring back that childlike wonder in yourself like watching and helping your own child discover the world
@TheIcahnist@AudereGolf How on earth did they keep this quiet? Seems like something that would be immediately disqualifying for many Patagonia consumers
Need a tell all by the head of PR that kept Patagonia from being thought of as a defense contractor
@hazan0608@jamestmurphy_ Probably more of a lesson in not using your personal residence as your business address. Registered agents are a thing for a reason
Redacting it would draw more attention and it’s public anyway in the filings. I didn’t even realize it was an apartment until your comment
@TrailsAndAlesUK Masters athletes should be able to check the box. I’d imagine a significant percentage of masters competitors are taking some form of banned substance
Beta blockers, diuretics, pain killers, asthma inhalers, anti inflammatory steroids all very common after a certain age
@ThatJNRamsey@BravesOnWTBS Another fact is John Malone and Ted were atleast cordial business partners if not friends. His interview after Teds passing was good
Between liberty media (Malone controls via voting shares) and personal holdings Malone controls almost 20%. Interesting he doesn’t make some call
@hal4ads In a world where a professional digital appearance is cheaper than ever to spin up.
Appearing in the physical world has to carry additional legitimacy in consumers minds, even if they don’t consciously realize it
