Did not have massive LEGO-related scandal on my bingo card for... any year. And Patreon delivering a big L to Bricks & Minifigs. What a weird saga: https://t.co/p5rnhoV9lq
I played with Augment Code when I started to try coding-with-AI. Sure, they misspelled "Auggie" horribly, but I was still taken by the name.
Today they announced an end to their free tier, but welcome you to use their $100/month plan thanks to all the agentic crap going on. Ugh
Now I’m seeing the AI generated YT videos across different genres. The tip-offs are the random statistic that is shown with a thermometer bar for no reason, plus the checklist on the side of the screen, and then the three circles with icons to indicate a list of things.
I’m so glad that all AI generated YouTube thumbnails looks alike. Makes it easy to know which channels to skip over. 90% of the time they’re also awfully AI narrated with random mispronunciations, weird artifacts caused by bad script punctuations, etc.
If you haven’t seen the unedited version of the final Colbert Questionnaire, you’re missing all the best and most outrageous parts. Seriously just go to Aubrey Plaza’s bit.
The audio always sounds super smooth and professional, until it mispronounces names and has awkward line readings. You can hear the comma or the dash in the script from the weird pause. Maddening. 2/2
I’m fast learning that I shouldn’t watch anything YouTube recommends to me, because 3/4ers of the time it’s an obvious AI voice speaking over an AI-powered clip assembly with a script that’s likely AI written, too. Can’t trust any of it. All fake crap. 1/2
It is embarrassing how bad @BowleroBowl facilities are at a @pbatour stop. How many times has a lane failed at the WSOB, resulting in a multi minute freeze in action? Can’t set ten pins. Can’t reset a single pin. The show never finishes on time.
@Lucas_Wiseman The question is whether they’re trying to brand each name differently. Like, AMF is the league friendly alleys, while Lucky Strike sites are the high end corporate bowling party places? “Bowlero” is going away, but it’s a bit of a transition to rebrand all those sites.
It's now official -- I'm bowling in a summer league starting at the end of this month. It'll be my first league since the 2007 - 2008 winter season.
How badly could this possibly go?
@The2one5tH I'm not confused because it turns out 1 in every 4 TV lanes works just as well as most Bowlero lanes.
And why does it take five minutes to reset a ten pin?!? Isn't there someone behind the lanes at all times during a TV broadcast to handle this faster?!?
Today, I received a bill for $10 from my doctor's office. OK, that's fine. It happens -- copay, insurance difference, weird charge, whatever.
It was from a visit from TEN YEARS AGO.
Oh, and that doctor retired about nine years ago.
Wild.
I love watching the seniors of the PBA50, particularly when they’re introduced by name, hometown, # championships won, and what today’s physical ailment happens to be.
It appears this only held true for the softball game that ran over into the beginning of bowling. Once bowling started, I could fast forward through. All’s well that ends well.
Oh, crap, CBS Sports is one of those channels where Hulu forces you to watch commercials. I pay for commercial free, but there are exceptions. I’m never going to be able to keep up with the @PBATour WSOB this week like this.
