@AesPolitics1 Bruh. Don’t dilute your point by showing two different stock charts with completely different x and y axis. Easiest sign of bias and dishonest bs
@_everythingism@RayDalio Dalio is forever on China’s dick. He’s been wrong as much as he’s been right for decades. I’ve read his books but I don’t trust what he’s saying as an honest assessment that represents reality. No one truly knows how all this will play out.
@Kreisher@chamath I share your concerns though. Either way both countries are stuck in this propped up system of make believe money dependent on everyone’s confidence. China and the US need each other too much still to keep it going. Going in a worse direction though…
@Kreisher@chamath That’s my point though, we’re divided and polarized and this makes our system more durable over time through the chaos. China has a rigid autocratic order which has its advantages like you’ve mentioned but it will break more easily when stretched.
@Kreisher@chamath Right, everyone loses. I agree with that. Was responding to “China wins a game of chicken” & “they have all the cards.”… until someone goes all in. China has more control over their population but US is much more anti fragile and flexible, if they bend too far they break.
