@RhondaGarad Why should anyone give a rats arse about Grace Tame's "lived experience" with her feather touch autism, when she denied r*pe victims their lived experience, because they are Jews.. HUH???
@HelenCo81968926@BernardKeane Former police officer, and child SA survivor, ward of the State from 2 and a half.
I reckon I've met, and experienced a fair bit more than you give me credit for.
@KosSamaras Don't we pay double the amount for rates here in Victoria for the comparable land size as other states?
Councils are woefully inefficient at spending our money well, but it is entirely the State Government's fault, who control them via the Victorian Local Government Act 2020.

@hardenuppete@antoinette_news It's cheap & easy news.
Avi has spoken openly about this. As a former family violence prosecutor for Victoria police, I can also speak to the issue.
Women disproportionately use the IVO system to punish their Ex's, & deny them access to their kids. Avi pled, so he could be a dad.

@hutch_ben Yes indeed. I had a few of those in the police force, demanding a medical certificate. Impossible to get an appointment, plus taking the time from someone who truly needs a doctor, plus crazy expensive&waste half a day, when all you need is some extra sleep and maybe some panadol 🤷
In Australia, legally you can write a Statutory Declaration instead of wasting money to go see a doctor (for one day off).
Don't let an employee bully you that you need a medical certificate every time.
Agree with below.
You earned those sick days (it's legit your money)
Adults should NOT have to bring doctor’s notes to their employer like we’re 8 years old asking for a bathroom pass. You’re a grown adult with bills, responsibilities, and a full-time job. If you say you’re sick, that should be enough. Forcing workers to pay $150+ for a doctor visit just to prove they’re not faking it is humiliating and dystopian. Your body doesn’t need corporate permission to be sick. And making people drag themselves to a doctor while contagious just spreads illness in the office. We trust adults to vote, sign contracts, raise kids, and serve in the military… but God forbid they take a Tuesday off without a permission slip.
I mean, we warned you.
I'm pissed it's taken Australians as long as it has to wake up to the evil pervasive nature of Labor, BUT recognizing it now before we are all in the gulag for saying Labor is 💩 is also a good thing 👍
@colonelhogans@Barnaby_Joyce Sex-selective abortion is the discussion at hand, did you not know?
Surprisingly, we are no better than third world shit holes that allow misogynistic policies to kill pre-born babies on the basis that they are girls. That has nothing to do with healthcare.
@ruicharadrius Maybe....but we have legal documents in Victoria that say "female" on a birth certificate of people that were born ....men.
That legal document doesn't make them male.
I'm not saying I agree totally with her post, but we do live in a country using lawfare to change reality....
Paid Parental Leave
One Nation has often supported parental leave in principle but opposed specific legislation where they believed the scheme increased costs to taxpayers or employers, or where they considered the bill poorly designed or overly complex.
