One of the understated things about a great Slack integration is that it's such a natural interface for agent collaboration from your phone - all without needing to open a different app. For me, one of my favorite tools to use on the bus or at the gym when I have a passing thought.
Your software Factory should meet you where you are, and with the model you need.
When you work with Factory in @SlackHQ threads, you get to choose which model you use, and which computer Droid works in.
A little less than a year ago, I opened up a coding IDE for the first time. Reluctant to depart from software engineering first principles, for months I continued to exclusively use it to answer questions and write code by hand. In the beginning of the year, I began to shift to agentic coding. Today, everything I do is Droid first-class - design documents, QA, triaging, you name it.
The unexpected twist is that I didn’t anticipate being this fulfilled with what I do as an engineer. Times have changed: the skills I developed from my favorite math and algorithm courses in college feel more validated than ever. It’s as if you’re a physicist, and you can finally do orbital mechanics with a powerful calculator no longer ever having to pause to get differential equations correct by hand.
It’s an excitement each day working with the tools we have at Factory that enable this kind of workflow and to bring forth our vision of the software factory. Here’s to the first step of many.
We are ready to support customers who may be impacted if Spirit Airlines ceases operations, with a focus on helping people continue their travel plans with low-fare options.
Over the weekend, I sent Droid on a Mission to create a home automation app. I wanted it to look like “xbox360 UI meets Spike Jonze's Her meets Liquid Glass”
I told it find the devices on my network, loop me in when it needs help (IRL or w/ auth) and make a 3d mockup of my apt.
This is what happens when a Trump ally — one of the wealthiest people in the world — buys CBS.
Sharyn Alfonsi is right: the media cannot be a stenographer for the state.
Democracy requires a free press that holds power accountable — not billionaires who silence it.
Just had a powerful convo with former Fed Governor Kevin Warsh about AI, growth, and what founders should really be focused on right now.
Kevin explains why most founders are thinking about AI backwards, how crypto got its branding wrong and why they took 10 years to fix it, and how AI can expand businesses and ship new products now.

I’m moving to the Bay & looking for a roommate starting Aug, preferably in Sunnyvale/South Bay.
I’m clean + quiet. I like immersion in a breadth of tech ideas but also looking forward to bandwagoning the 49ers in their championship window.
If anyone else is also looking, lmk
2/ The core thesis is simple: after a decade, ETH still hasn't found product market fit, yet trades as if mass adoption is inevitable. This is due to two key reasons:
1. Decentralization is not a value proposition that the masses will pay for multiple times a day
2. ETH has lost market share and will continue to lose market share in a market I'd argue isn't broadly lucrative.
