@aspiraldance We get money. Not as much as if you buy the book, but we do get some. Personally, as an author, I have zero problem with you reading my book with Amazon Unlimited. I'd rather you get the book for free and read it, rather than buy 10 copies, and not read even one.

@sum_yun_dude @GamesSudoku Translation. I have an IQ of about 100, and I did not understand. Because I am not intelligent enough to understand, I will attempt to throw shade on the answer, to make me seem more intelligent than I am. In reality, it only shows I am not very intelligent.

@sum_yun_dude @GamesSudoku And since the number symbol 7 is never shown, the lowest possible number base Is 8. You can use octal if you substitute 8 for 7. Also, never do they say that + means addition. Someone with an IQ of 180 or above could derive a consistent math using + as a symbol for division.

@sum_yun_dude @GamesSudoku Another thing you notice is they never give you a complete formula. That means the numbers don't have to be base 10. For example, a perfectly legitimate answer for 20+_=11 is 20 +F = 11, provided the numbers are in hexadecimal

@sum_yun_dude @GamesSudoku IQ 130+ Just as it did not specify that the answers must be positive integers (making -9 a perfectly acceptable answer) it also doesn't specify that operations must be limited to just +, -, × and ÷. That blank operator could be a modulus operator, or even a dx/st operation.

@sum_yun_dude @GamesSudoku IQ 110 - 130 you notice a variable operator : _ _ 5 = _. Gutter, you assume the first number must be 9 (because 36 ÷4=9). And you notice that answer must = 23 + x.
So. You realize, 9×5=45 = 23 +22 (the answer everyone gets) but also 9+5=14=23+(-9)

If you have an IQ between 70 and 90, the puzzle is a bit challenging, solved with simple pre-high school math.

To anyone at this level of IQ, even simple math is challenging.

The problem doesn't say the answers are required to be positive integers.

Another possible answer is :
9 - 5 = 5
(-18) + 23 = 5

And another:

9 % 5 = 4
(-19) + 23 = 4

Where % is the modulus operator.

@HalosFanMontana The 2nd Amendment is the problem. It's antiquated, flawed, and never did work to serve its original purpose. It should be repealed. But, of course, in the US, that will never happen.
