Over $850,000,000,000 in USD-based stablecoin transfer volume on Polygon Chain in 2026.
That's a billion dollars every 8 hours, every day since January
🚨SAMSUNG WALLET GOES LIVE WITH CROSS-BORDER USDC TRANSFERS ON SOLANA!
Samsung launched stablecoin accounts in Samsung Wallet today, letting eligible U.S. Galaxy users buy, hold, send and receive $USDC on @solana directly inside the app across ~82 million compatible devices.
The feature puts Solana-powered $USDC transfers into a mainstream wallet people already use, with no Samsung fee on wallet-to-wallet sends.
Solana already handles massive stablecoin volume and this adds a major consumer distribution channel that could drive more on-chain activity.
Crypto needs to make more sense to everyday people. Marc, Head of APAC at Jito Foundation, on why clear messaging and simple use cases matter for adoption.
“80% of the population out there, they don't care. You got to actually put your value prop at the front and tell them what the product does for them.”
“Stablecoins is a very nice, sticky use case with strong product market fit.”
Something interesting is happening with stablecoins.
Stablecoin transaction volume reached $81.69B in the weekly snapshot for October 26, 2026.
But the breakdown is what caught my attention.
Infrastructure Automation accounted for $24.28B, followed by Investment Trade at $17.77B, Payments at $13.72B and Store of Value at $12.67B.
This tells us something important.
Stablecoins are moving beyond simply being digital asset that people hold. They’re increasingly being used across payments, investment activity, automated transactions and other areas of finance.
I think this is an important shift.
Stablecoin adoption is expanding across different parts of the financial system.
My take is that supply alone doesn’t tell the full story.
How frequently stablecoins move and what they’re being used for are becoming equally important indicators of adoption.
had some interesting conversations with LPs at a family office conference:
generalist capital is having a harder time at the early stage
many are either too niche, too capital-intensive, or priced beyond realistic venture returns
meanwhile, specialists are finding opportunities where others don't look
fintech, industrial tech, financial infrastructure
the edge is knowing a market deeply enough to recognize what others miss
If you're a contract sales staff in a commercial bank and your long-term plan is to become a full time staff, but you cannot see a clear path to achieving that, consider moving to a digital lending company or a fintech-powered MFB as an SME Officer.
Spend about two years there. Build a solid loan portfolio, acquire customers, manage relationships, and consistently meet your targets.
Once you have the numbers and can confidently defend your achievements, start pushing your CV for Consumer Banking and Relationship Management roles in commercial banks.
You have a chance.
JOSEPH CHALOM SEES A 1,000X ACCELERATOR FOR ETHEREUM
The former BlackRock executive believes AI agents could dramatically accelerate the financial activity taking place on Ethereum.
His thesis brings together four layers:
🔹 Stablecoins: Programmable money.
🔹 Tokenized assets: Securities and collateral.
🔹 DeFi: Lending, borrowing and execution.
🔹 AI agents: Continuous financial automation.
Here’s the part I find most interesting.
Tokenization increases the amount of value onchain. AI agents could dramatically increase how frequently that value moves.
A tokenized asset might sit in a portfolio for months. An AI agent could continuously use that asset as collateral, rebalance positions and execute transactions.
Financial activity could grow much faster than the value of assets being tokenized.
Chalom’s 1,000x is a prediction, not a measured outcome.
But it raises an important question for Ethereum investors.
What happens when the biggest users of financial infrastructure are no longer humans, but millions of autonomous agents operating around the clock?
I am increasingly fearful for businesses that depend entirely on commissions and operate in heavily regulated sectors.
One regulatory change, one new guideline, and the entire business model can collapse.
Examples:
- Fintech platforms
- Insurance aggregators
- Stockbroking firms
- Mutual fund distributors
- Loan distribution platforms
- Payment aggregators
- Wealth management platforms
- Real estate brokers
- Lending marketplaces
- Crypto exchanges
The biggest risk is building a business where you don't control the rules of the game.
Ripple's RLUSD is gaining ground fast in the digital dollar race
@Ripple's $RLUSD stablecoin has seen $128.6 million in inflows in the last 24 hours, leading the pack in global stablecoin expansion.
This massive one-day increase helps the circulating supply of the stablecoin to cross the mark of $2.5 billion.
The influx is linked to institutional treasury routing and growing liquidity integrations at key exchanges like @Coinbase and @RobinhoodCrypto.
I never would have thought that we would get to this point in the crypto market.
What am I talking about?
I am talking about the fact that we are watching as DeFi expands on the $XRP ledger for the first time in 14 years.
Ripple is becoming a bank at the same time that major banking partnerships just got announced with XRP at the core.
We have the largest XRP treasury company moving rapidly to expand the ecosystem, scale institutional adoption of the ledger and acquire more XRP.
The DTCC just went live with their $30T tokenization system (part of the $114T total) with public blockchains scheduled for 2027.
Wall Street is moving rapidly to tokenize at the same time that banks around the world are actively tokenizing.
The US Government is actively positioning dollar denominated stablecoins as the answer to foreign nations dumping US debt.
US regulators are all actively promoting digital asset technology i.e. the SEC, CFTC, OCC, not to mention support from the FED & FDIC.
All of this is happening, but because the charts aren't pumping it apparently all means nothing and EVERYONE is extremely upset pointing the finger at anyone possible.
The sentiment is just abysmal even though everything we have been waiting for is happening in front of us.
The next move to the upside will be very painful, because most of retail won't be positioned for it because they are too busy complaining about discounted opportunities. It really is unfortunate.
🚨 CRYPTO'S DRY POWDER IS SHRINKING.
Dollar stablecoin supply:
→ May 17 record: $315.5B
→ Today: $297.8B (−$17.8B)
→ Last 10 days: −$5.5B, the biggest drop since June
Stablecoins are the cash on the sidelines. The sidelines are getting smaller.
