Today, in Iran, in the middle of a war, the regime executed a 19-year-old national wrestling champion for the crime of joining January protests. 💔

After signaling to the world, including President @realDonaldTrump, that they would halt executions of protesters, the regime has done the exact opposite.

Three young protesters, Saleh Mohammadi, Mehdi Ghasemi, and Saeed Davoudi, were hanged in Qom after a sham trial.

Reports indicate torture. Forced confessions. No access to chosen lawyers. Closed-door proceedings. No right to appeal.

I call on @GlobalAthleteHQ to stand with Iranian athletes who are being silenced, imprisoned, and executed simply for raising their voices.

This is not just about sports. This is about human dignity.

He’s facing execution Farshad Mahmoudian

Farshad Mahmoudian is not a criminal. He’s an Iranian medal-winning boxer. An athlete. A fighter in the ring not a threat to society.

He was arrested during Iran’s national uprising. His “crime”? Speaking out. Showing up. Refusing to stay silent.

He’s the head of his family. His sister has MS and depends on him. He went into hiding for a while, but eventually an informant identified him and he was arrested. Now he’s been transferred to Shahr-e Kord prison, reportedly for the execution of his sentence.

Execution. For a boxer.

This is what the Islamic Republic does. It doesn’t just jail people. It goes after athletes, workers, young men who dare to stand up. It tries to make examples out of them so everyone else stays afraid.

Diana Taherabadi is 16 years old. Sixteen.

On the morning of January 25, around 8 a.m., five officers showed up at her home in Karaj. They stormed in, grabbed everyone’s phones so no one could call for help, and went straight to her room. She was asleep. They stood over her and told her, “Get up.” Then they arrested her.

They put handcuffs on a 16-year-old girl and dragged her into a van. She was taken to Kachouei Prison. Later, she was brought to court in Karaj. And now there’s talk of a possible death sentence.

A death sentence. For a teenager.

Her family hasn’t even been told the judge’s name. They’ve sent her to forensic authorities to “evaluate her mental fitness.” It’s been about a month, and her family is terrified. They don’t know what’s happening to their daughter.

If you’re reading this outside Iran, understand what this means. This regime doesn’t just jail adults. It breaks into homes at dawn and handcuffs sleeping schoolgirls. It threatens them with execution.

She’s 16. She should be in school. She should be worrying about exams, friends, her future.

Instead, she’s sitting in prison with the shadow of the death penalty hanging over her head.

How much louder does this have to get before the world stops pretending this is normal?
