@mark_li20 I loved the camera angles as well. I loved how the angles are a huge part of the telling of the story. The coloring was a huge factor, but the angles really sell the story.
After watching Do The Right Thing, I felt angry and frustrated. The racial issues in the film are still present today. Even in families. The coloring used in the film seems to represent certain emotions like the bright colored scenes make you passionate and angry #Media1801D02
@karla_lazala@mark_li20 I also agree with this. I feel like that is cunys main appeal - the cost of it. So it would make sense for it to be intending for high schoolers overwhelmed with college costs.
I see this ad everyday on the subway. I think this tinder ad is intended for Gen Z mostly because of the color scheme. The bold colors have been in with the younger generation and whites/neutrals are out. Also because tinder was intended for the younger generations #Media1801D02
@karla_lazala I think I can see both sides to this. I will say I preferred spending quality time with people and now it seems like quality time is sitting next to each other while you watch a screen. It’s sad in a way.
I think cable did disrupt community in some ways because it created a division and now people aren’t watching the same things as everyone else at the same time. #Media1801D02
@I_like_frogmoji It was definitely weird for my childhood to be centered around playing with the neighbors kids and one day we all just stopped. Instead of interacting with others, we tweet about the new euphoria episodes.

@karla_lazala Hi Karla, I liked your response! I believe we also sometimes look for the “right” thing to be rooting for and that also influences our opinions on the political system.
@DenisseMar35985 Hi Denisse, I also believe social media can foster AND harm the political system. Our last presidential election is a great example of misinformation spread on the internet through social media.
Social media fosters the political system of democracy and principle of freedom. Social media is a great way to become a media citizen by participating in the political process of media. It also helps us express our thoughts through our freedom of speech #Media1801D02
