It has been a sankalpam of Kanchi Kamakoti Acharya Shri Shri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi to establish an integrated patashala in Gujarat wherein brahmin boys (7 – 14 years) can be provided modern education alongside strong teaching and practice of our samskarams. Modern education would be under GSEB in Gujarati/English medium. A Gurukula pattern of Boarding will be provided in the same campus of the school located in Gota, Ahmedabad. Here the students will be taught Sanskrit whereby they will be able to not only gain proficiency in the language but also learn, understand and chant important Slokas, Suktams, Rudram, Chamakam etc. Boys will also learn to perform Samskarams like Trikala Sandhyavandhan, Suryanamaskar, yoga, basic homas, pujas in temple etc in Sanskrit.

The building infrastructure is already in place. The patashala is scheduled to start in June coinciding with the school academic year. Adhyapak, Warden and cook are in the process of being appointed. Flyers are enclosed for more details.

Astikas are hereby requested to share this in their respective circles so that deserving Brahmin boys can avail of this great opportunity.
